I was sitting in the Captain's Quarters when up on the screen flashed my picture saying that I was newly certified. I have been in game for 10 months 4 days, committed over 200 pod murders and have almost 20 billion isk in wanton destruction to my name. Why did it take Concord so long to "certify" me? It's not that I don't appreciate it, but don't you think they should have noticed me before now? |

I have been playing off and on since 2005 with this character and I saw her picture come up on the new pilot certification ad as well. Not sure how it determines how you are new, I have seen it come up a couple times over the last few days. I think it might just be client side as I haven't noticed any other pilots come up since the patch. |

We used to get a Certificate (lore item) at the end of the tutorial / career missions (don't remember which). But recently CCP switched the new player experience to the Opportunities system. You probably turned it off but it still tracks what you do, whether you're a newbie or not, much like achievements. You must have done whatever the last item on its checklist was, so it gave you your certification. |

I look at the view from the balcony, then switch to ship view and try to match the camera angle, to figure out where that balcony is in the station tube.
There's a big screen TV but it just cycles between ads and various interfaces. |

Certification showed up on one of my other characters and is still showing up on this one. It looks like this is just client side and happens for everyone. |
