I do. Not that much jpop aside the anime openings and endings I like, though. Most of common jpop is in fact horrible. Well, and jrock too, I guess. However, I like these artists (or at least several of their songs):
The Pillows
- Featured in FLCL - Style varies a lot from jazzy older records to rock-like new ones - Favourite record: Please Mr. Lostman - Favourite songs: Strange Chameleon, One Life, S****y Street, Bran New Lovesong to name a few (good recommendations for sampling to find out if you'd like Pillows) - I own Please Mr. Lostman
Shocking Lemon
- Featured in Hajime No Ippo - Favourite songs: Under Star, Inner Light - The above mentioned songs are a lot better than most of their other songs I've heard - Hard to find other songs beside those except on CDs purchased from Japan - I own Sometimes Alone
L'Arc En Ciel
- Featured in various animes such as Great Teacher Onizuka - I mostly only like the Ark record, and singular songs from other production

I'm not a mac user you (I probably shouldn't call you a name seeing as I'm on my last forum warning afaik) not very nice person.
DS, I listen to a wide variety of things from OMG Death Metal to Classical to Dance/Electronica, Rap/Hiphop, Drum & Bass, anything that I thinks sounds good really.
Jpop, anime themes and that stuff... it's just the vocals. I don't know how they do it but the Japanese seem to have perfected the art of almost killing me with their voices. Like that Quake ad you did, the voices of the robots in that actually gave me a migrane.

It was Tremor, and the voices were entirely intentional.
P.S. They have male singers too, you know.
