I already rat in 0.0 and run missions (lvl 3's currently, lvl 4's once I have the skills/equipment/isk) but I'm looking for new ways to make money, such as production, working the market, etc.
Any suggestions would be appreciated, along with what skills you would recommend and any advice to go along. Thanks in advance.

Read Kaaii's guide, get the trade skills and start printing ISK.

If your going into manufacturing train up production Effiency V save up as much as you can til the new bc's come out and buy the bpo, build and sell for rip off prices.
P.S
You might want to train up your trade skills and get a frieghter.
