Will my Skill Training continue when my subscription runs out untill it finishes? I've heared that it works that way, but some of my friends are telling me otherwise.
What's the deal?

Yes it will continue to train even though your subscription is not active. I cancelled my subscription for about 2 months and during that time I put on the longest skill I could to train. When I reactivated my account the skill I put to train was completed (I put Gallente Battleship Piloting up to train from 4 to 5, took 43 days).

Related question: Do buy and sell orders on your character stay active? * * * In the beginning the Universe was created. This has made a lot of people very angry and been widely regarded as a bad move.

Edited by: Savion Jain on 09/11/2006 17:19:24 Additionally to the original post, it there any way (from my searching the site, I'd guess no) or any plans to be able to manage your skills from the site as opposed to in game? IE training on a particular skill is complete and I don't want to waste time and would like to start up another.

Devs have stated no plans to add web based skill switching, as it is not a web game. But, they plan to set up a skill queue where you can pick multiple skills to train after your first is done.

That skill queueing is in the 'The Drawingboard' status, so it'll come some time SoonÖ.
What will be coming is an 'EVE Lite' client, which allows limited functionality (market operations, skill changes, etc) on a PDA device.

That sounds awesome. I guess I'm going to have to get a PDA now. Xp I just wish I could access EVE from work so that I could change what skills are training, but with the future addition of queues and the lite client I guess I'll be getting some work done after all.
