I bet DaMiGe isn't just a pirate, either. Posted - 2006.11.14 00:34:00 - [33] ...I dont know what all the fuss about farjung is tbh, sure hes a really good pvper, but no more so than most the other good pvpers out there its just the fitting allowed him to do amazing things, and im not trying to take anything away from him, cos he had the balls to use the ship, but it was a fitting worth quite a fair bit more than a dreadnaught... so if you do it on isk value, in everyone of the engagements in his video his ship was worth WAY more than anything he engaged put together. But like i said im not trying to take anything away from him.

When the actual fight takes place very little of it is down to actual skill.. skill points and fitting is the main thing, u arnt actually piloting a ship. ur just orbitting, klicking, pretty standard stuff to every eve pvper. would this far guy u all worship make a 50mill blaster pilot from celes apoc look stupid in a 1v1 with standard fittings just because u think hes skillfull?... i think not. A high % of fights in eve are down to luck in fittings and luck in not being ganked. the guys that have most kills usually have most loses its just the way it is. hes good at picking his fights is that skill?, i dont think so, but maybe thats more common sence. anyways not dissing him, i liked his vid, but do that with standard tec 2 stuff?, no chance. respect for using it it though. d solo. celes apoc kill board

My 2 isk, make change as necessary. All that about nos web and drones is standard stuff too. Its the setup and strategy that will win it. If they both fit standard setups it could go either way. But if one of them thinks outside the box for a seconds, chances are they will win.

PvP is more than just clicking buttons you have to pay close attention to every detail, as you said, transversal, range etc. But farjung's skills are no more than any other good pvper. I have been flying a megathron for just over 2 and a half years now, and i fly a megathron identical to how he does, and i know others that fly like that too, because its the best way to fly a megathron, also his choice in targets was spot on and i would have done the same in his position, his videos give a good idea on his capabilities and it is not my intention to come across big headed. Im just saying that yes his skills are top notch, but so are many others... give me a ship like that shove me in identical situations and the outcome would be the same. But as i said im not trying to take anything away from him, one can only admire the fact he would go into such risky engagements in a ship of that value.

I fought farjung before to and he did well to almost lost my brutix to his thorax but that was long time ago . Point beiing loads of same ppl on forums ;its not cause you post a lot or not that your great pilot or bad pilot . Theres forumwar and evewar .Some ppl do both , some do one side . To answer the 1 on 1 , both know there **** , would be close fight .
