ok, my dog Ozzie loves Pedigree "Gravy Bones" however, the question is this:
Have you noticed how much those gravy bones taste like twiglets at first? isn't it odd.. but then they get all gritty and I don't like that at all.
so umm... I.. well there was a point when I originally thought of writing this..sorry

consider my weirdness as a sacrifice then, for the greater good, now when you are faced with a box of Gravy bones you can say "They taste like twiglets but not as good, Thank the gods for Benco97" and so you won't have to eat one.

Absolutely not, I do not do naughty things anymore, I have not been a student for a few years now. Times like that are behind me.
I was simply wondering why my dog seems to enjoy them so much.
*Edit* it's not THAT weird really, I wouldn't feed my dog something I wouldn't eat, you know?

there is a large tub of chocolate-chip dog-cookies in my spare room right now that i have never dared to eat. because of this thread, i am going to eat one right now.

I tried my first GravyBone the other day and that was exactly how I described it. Too dry and salty to eat as an everyday snack IMO.
We also have the Chicken flavour GravyBones but I have not tried one of those yet.

I used to eat cat food, not tried any dog related sustenance yet though, the biscuits ours have seem so greasy and gritty.

I hate my aunt, when I was 7 she tricked me in to eating a piece of dog jerky. And I must admit, I still like to sneak a bite before feeding my dog.

Ive had dogs most of my life and ive never been tempted to try dog food, my reasoning is simple, dogs will quite happily lick there genitals and @ss all day long and some will eat there own and other dogs cr@p.
With this in mind how choosy do you think pet food manufacturers are about the indgredients they use?
And before u mention all the health and saftey, hygiene rules etc, just speak to anyone whos worked in the foods industry how much attention they pay to them when profit is online.
Bottom line is pets like their own genitals, a lot......

I used to eat dog biscuits quite regularly while visting my grandparents house. They weren't all that bad actually.
