ED209 is advertising Nighthawks. I contacted them, placed an order for 2, and after waiting past the promised delivery date, got this first email

Your 2 nighthawks are on escrow mate in jita iv moon 10 caldari construction production plant.
I send him a note to check his escrow, as I am docked in Jita at the time and I do not see them on escrow for me. I get back this response.

I set escrow for you 2 times and it expired, and now unfortunatly i sold them to another buyer.
We all know the escrow system, the only way this could have happened would have been for these to be listed as 1 day escrow items.
It seems pretty clear this clown got a higher price and just decided to blow off my order.
Which is sad. Obviously ED209 is an idiot, or some kid who doesn't understand that gamers have lives and jobs, and don't race home, throw our tricycles on the lawn, and run downstairs to the basement to check on things in the game.
Heck, I am sitting in an international airport or wireless, and logged in to kill a 3 hour flight delay.
Rant or rave about how great she is or how much her corp wants all you want. I will be glad when we can get Tech 2 ships and fittings by our own efforts with the next major release instead of the current garbage of dealing for a few great people and a few clowns like this one I ran into.

Ya i had a problem with ED209 as well.
He told me to drop my weapon and when i did (well within the 20 second buffer he gave me) he still shot at me.
Dont trust this guy.

Ed is fine, I have had dealings with him and he was ahead of shedule on Nighthawk, granted it was a while ago, but dude does what he says.
Sorry you had a bad expirience with the guy, but I would deal with him again.

lol you seen the price on that thing ?
i had a model that was of better detail than that back when robocop was new except it wasnt painted and it cost about ú25
infact that model isnt even film accurate and they want ú150 for it?
if i bought that thing i would have a problem with ED209 aswell

I have had plenty of experiences escrowing things and the other person not being able to see the escrow

^^ Same here, last time it happened was a few days ago to a Corpmate. For some reason he couldn't see the first escrow at all, yet the second time (Using the same escrow search settings) he found it straight away.
I can't wait for the new contracts system to come into EVE, much much easier.

Sometimes u have to goto the actually station and set escrow to show that station only,

or when you opened your car window sometimes the day before
