Now, I would assume its possible to do. so was wonderin how :)
I mean, i can do it the true minmatar way of having a MIC right by the speaker/headphone, but is there a better way to go about this?

It's far less expensive to use shoutcast. If you're real curious, i'm sure the guys who run eve-radio would be glad to give you a few tips.

well i was more or less planning on having it so that on days that its quiet running some tunes over alliance TS...
would that kill the bandwidth and cause the server owner to get large charges for the server?

Most TS servers run at about 14-16kb/s - Which is really crap. A good audio stream needs to be 96+kbp/s. While i'm not totally familiar with TS's pricing guide, i'm fairly certain that would be far more costly than using shoutcast.
On the note of "Is it possible" yes it is. It's possible to use your speakers as a microphone. I do it my self by plugging my speaker jack into my microphone jack. This has the odd effect of blaring my horrible eurobeat over what ever form of communcation standard I am using.
It might just be my funky audio-card. Baring that, you can ask someone with a bit more in the way of technical expertise. Perahps the TS forums would do. Best of luck!

I used to do this in my planetside days. My second computer was logged into teamspeak and was set to record 'what you hear'. Disable push to talk key, mute your teamspeak volume and it's all set. Then just queue up some mp3's in media player or whatever. You will have to fiddle with all your volume sliders to get it to transmit at an acceptable level so that it doesn't distort on ts.
Used to love those galaxy drops with "woa-oh black betty, bam-a-lam!" just like in that movie: Basic. ******* quality.
The best part is, it requires no effort for people to tune into, it's just there, and if they get sick of it, they can just mute the dj so to speak. Also, you can disable it at a click if combat gets serious and you need to shut it up.
