Rapid Withdrawal is a fun, active, PVP corporation involved in factional warfare, fighting for the Gallente Federation in Eve Online. We provide quality support services to our pilots, both experienced and new.
PVP: Exploding space ships (theirs and ours) is our reason for existing. If you enjoy playing safe, this corporation is not for you. Expect to take risks, expect to lose ships and expect to have great fun doing so. If you have never PVP'd in Eve before, this corporation is a good place to learn and have fun at the same time.
Fun: we aim to have no corp drama, so if you're a drama queen and want to be the centre of attention, this is not the corp for you. We have many accomplished solo pilots in corp, but team work is central to achieving our goals so we expect you to behave with maturity on comms and in chat. Comms often devolves into R rated content, so be prepared to deal with this as well. Downloading Teamspeak3 is a must to be a part of this corporation. Most of our fleets are coordinated through our private teamspeak server and wider Galmil fleets also use teamspeak3.
Active: We have over 130 players on our list and essentially all of these players are active. If you have been inactive for over a month you will be kicked from the corp (although you are always welcome to reapply). We look for players who are keen to get out and fight, whether solo or in fleets. The majority of our players are US time zone based, but we have a strong presence in the Aus time zone (more so than average for a facwar corp) and good numbers in the EU time zone as well.
Support services: We provide a jump freighter service, free to corp members. We provide an LP buyback system to help you make quick ISK (without all the painful logistics) from faction war. We have a mentor program to give you one on one tuition with an experienced player if you need it. We have A website and forums that are heavily used by our members and with tons of helpful information.
Killboards: As a corporation, we are proud of our ISK efficiency and the kills we achieve. We keep track of our achievements mostly using https://zkillboard.com/corporation/98177721/ As a member of RDRAW we expect you to take care of your personal killboards. This doesn't mean you can't lose ships. It does mean that you should fly ships that match your current level of experience: ie. new players should stick to cheap stuff (worth less than 10 mill ISK) until they feel confident to progress to more expensive ships.
Factional warfare (or fac war for short) occurs in low sec systems designated as the war zone. We fight over contested systems. If a system is contested, the current ownership and progress towards capture by the opposite faction is indicated by a bar in the top left corner.
I find this map useful for understanding our war zone: http://evemaps.dotlan.net/map/Caldari_VS_Gallente
