This is my opinion based on the facts that i
currently know, so if anyone got some positiv
view of this - please update me  .
Scrap Jumpdrives, why ?.
Because if they get "installed" into EVE,
all borders will be open for all pirates to go
anywhere and kill anyone, basically there will
be no way of telling where an armada of pirates
will spawn and kill anything in sight.

Dude, you hardly know how jumpdrives work. You've never seen one in use, you've never seen the stats, you don't know its capabilities, and you don't know its limitations.
Stop speculating about pointless crap.

Yay, just as if there wasn't enough whining.
Not only is your thinking flawed since the same will apply to everyone (jip camping anyone?) but the feature is not even implemented yet.
I have an idea. Lets all dream up ten potentials to whine about..

I have the same concerns over Cloaking Devices - if they aren't implemented properly they'll cause havoc.

Ehh have u even tested the cloaking device?
Cuz they kinda sucks. I dont mind having a 1vs1 if he has a cloaking device. Boom boom he has no shield and hardly any cap after he have activated it.

Extremely bad and lame idea.
I paid 10 mill for the skill and trained for 3 weeks to be able to use one.
Now that I have the skill, you want to scrap it?
It will give us the ability to travel to Jove and to get into "claimed" areas.
It will only make the game a little more exciting and tactical, as well as keep you on your toes to watch local a little more in your deep space areas.
Forget pirates, watch out for a large alliance jumping in to your area and covering all of your exits :)

You're assuming there's only one person with one cloaking device.
Use a non-cloaked ship as bait. Make it a tank with a warp-scrambler.
Get a couple of Ravens to uncloak......
Depends if there's a immunity timer after de-cloaking, I guess.

Anyway, considering how completely the useless the map is lately, people jumping into a system may aswell be using jumpdrives 'cause there isn't a orange trail on the map anymore

If you look at the penalty the cloaking device has, -100% shields, -100%cap. Idont think ppl need to worry about jumpdrives and ppl sneaking up on them, as they will probably have even more penalty.

based on the facts i knew.
And now after abit more incomming info about
those jumpdrives , i say bring them on.
I dont like nerfing anymore then you - but
you have to admitt that some things that CCP
decided to "add" into this game might not have

I'd have to say that the majority of Eve are cowards. I would have to give the Hero award to the noobs. Free of most fears like a young child. Yet its the high and mighty powerfull all skilled characters to run and log.......lol...and to even think about nerfing anything that hasn't even been put in the game yet. Gee whiz. Ever think that the pirates may have to watch their cute little b-hinds too?
Cloaks kinda suck, but not too bad for checking out what other ppl are doing. While in convo massing the troops on the whim for a great pounce.
Just try to think of everything on a broader perspective. Yin and Yang, everything has it. Lets wait and see.

Dood I highly doubt that any other ship than the Titan will be able to use a Jumpdrive. And from what the devs said only mega corps will be able to afford only one of them. So.............you dont have to worry about a bunch of pirates coming to kick your azz.....well....not in a Titan anyway
