Now a little information (didnŠt thought this was needed anymore but looks like it is).
All existing Expanded I got turned into Expanded II. Basic Expanded I got turned into Expanded I that i suppose will be fully seeded soon (but with CCP you never know lol).
I made a mistake when setuping bid increases. The increase is no more no less then last bid plus 50%. First bid MUST be 1 ISK.
All bids made so far are not valid. Sorry for that.

The oonly reason to buy them now would be to scam others or to build as many as possible to fill the buy orders all over the Eve galaxy.
These EC1's will be 6k isk a piece in a week.

That seems the more probable thing to happen. But after this strange (not using other words so i stay polite) actions by CCP one never knows.
Oh and i think it will take at least 2 weeks to be fully seeded in best case scenario.

Why would they do that? They just converted a lot of basics to T1. Seems they just phased out the basics.

I've read the whole thread and I can't see anything wrong with the original bidding sequence going: 1, 1.5, 3, 6, 12, 24, 48, 96, 192, 300, 450, 900, 1800, 3600
So I conclude that the highest valid bid right now is 3600, and next valid bid would be in the range 5400-7200.

Some of the tech1's that were not seeded have been put on the test server.
Mixed with the fact that I know some were basics later converted to tech1 and the basics were removed it looks as tho ccp is doing what's been asked for years..
putting tech1 on market!
There are probably THOUSANDS of these basic (now tech1) expander bpo's.. so yea, they are worthless..
if ccp seeds the bpo or if ccp doesnt seed the bpo then it really doesnt matter because these prints will be worthless soon.

Which mean....
If the last bid was 7.5mil THE HIGHEST YOU CAN BID is 15mil.
7.5*2 = 15
The lowest you can bid is 11.25mil
7.5*1.5 = 11.25
If you want to keep it as low as possible take the last valid bid and multiply it by 1.5.
If you want to bid the highest possible take the last valid bid and mulitply it by 2.
That being said... I'm not bidding, it's already higher then it's value.

All the things I said that some pilot believes is my way of talking the auction down are my very strong opinions about the future of the EC1 market.
Don't believe me. Fly to Jita, Oursulaert, Rens and Amarr and take a look at the average market prices of EC1's. The market is collapsing and the vested interests are scrambling to keep the average price up. Why else would there be 11,000 EC1's for sale in Jita 4-4 CNAP?
This BPO's value is only good at the 5 million isk level for 1 more week. Then the BPO will be available to all and since the manufacturing price of an EC1 is 1600 isk you predict what the price of an EC1 in Jita will be after November 23rd.
Don't be foolish and bid more than 10 million on this auction.
BTW, if I win this auction I will give the BPO away for free in some lottery. Any one have ideas on how to be fair in this kind of lottery? It is new to me.

That is a breach of contract to modify the auction once it begins.
The buyout option did not exist upon the start of the auction so the buyout bid is invalid.

The buyout option did not exist upon the start of the auction so the buyout bid is invalid.

Me a successfull trader? Just gave the BPO away for one isk. Althought in the next days i will be rewarded with a SBA II by the winner.

I think you missed the 5 mil bid up there, then it went to 9 and 15 mil.
(edit: I mean the 2nd 5 mil bid, by tabadabb. it was valid.)
At first I thought these bidding rules were a great idea which would keep the auction going for a long time and generate free bumps for the OP. But seeing how much confusion it caused, I think I will stick to normal auctions in the future also.
