The reason is those Guilds are not a EVE guild but Online Game Guild which have their entire friends and enimies in many games. They come to this game are not for fun, It's just a battlefield for their duel.

That would be like early goon vs eve, would be fun and would love to be in the sniper fleet popping all there cruisers and frigs.
The only thing more dangerous than the Goons is the Chinese version of them. -----------------------------------------------

Cruisers are no longer use for war after 3 monthes the betatest. All battleships now and T2 frigates level mods.
And every gang leader will have more than 2000 BMs for the whole universe.

Ever seen korean/chinese starcraft players? 70-120 Key presses per minute and thats just to micro a harvester.
I've played Starcraft against some of those Korean guys. Of course I got slaughtered. Hat off. Its just scary! ---------------------- We don't care, what you say. I'mma do my thing, from day to day... We don't care, what you think. 'Cause in this world, it's Swim-or-Sink... |

As it is I happen to like my life here, and play for recreation, not as a lifestyle in itself.

Wow, this doesn't sound to much like how they behave on TQ does it?
Check the 5/10 drone complexes, gibberh name npc corp chars like dsadhdfh farm them, once they get to the last level, all but one log out, that one farms last level till DT.
All throughout 0.0 you can find these gibberish name noob chars in ravens farming the npcs in the belts, sounds familiar?
Serenity was just training for TQ.

If Tranquility and Serenity ever met, Serenity would steamroll Tranquility simply because of the name...that and we just plain suck at working together without needing lots of personal gain.

I guess they are really like that and pool all their money together or something. I just read one of the news post on the "Speed myth reg" and it says the alliance will provide a free dread of a given race to anyone who complete the dread training before Nov. 30th, 2k6. Interesting policy.

Well, some laws in China is just the law..... And millions online game players won be happy with that so the game comps.
And the there is a saying the comp which run the chinese eve acturlly is the only game comp which has a gov background and get less cutoff for the secirity reason.
As u know we are Republic....lol Ofcourse not in the real live. but, At least we can do what the real republic is in the game with the friends who played online game many years together, I mean the Guild.

One important think u guys might not noticed.. Money is really useless if u cannot buy things from the market. You can only get ships and mods from your guild or corp if u join. As a guild/corp, u will need to use all your resourse to get more benefit from others in the market. In order to monopolize the market you have to have the highest Tech ships and mods to sell, that requires the BPOs which is very expansive compair with the frigate/cruiser incoming, hence in order to monopolize the further market you will have to put more money into the BPOs or if you don't have the highest grade ship's BPO and wanna to fight with 30k other players for the limited profit dumping market.
Which acturly happens in the real world....and seems we are the loser.

Wow they really develop entirely different then we do. From the starters they have huge alliances that monopolize the eve-universe.
Until people start maxing their skills out, I doubt there will be little room for small entities. The big superpowers can easily stay ahead till they hit that limit. (You can only specialize to a certain extend before you would be training other <unrelated> skills).
I think that if it were to come down to serenity versus tranquillity, I think tranquillity would be crushed. I doubt we could all fight together for one cause. Prove already exists on the server. I think in some extend the Goons are operating this way and look how well they are doing and far they have come in such a short period of time.

thats simply not true, for example to spec in minmatar (fully) u need an insane amount of sp's, years worth of training time, so i doubt they are there yet, as an example (i have ignored eng/elec skills casue they obv.
frig 5 cruider 5 bs 5 adv spaceship 5 capital ships 4 dread 4 torp 5 large guns 5 large guns spec 4 adv weap upg 5
thats just a few and thats months of training time.
i currently have 9m sp's in gunnery and only use minnie stuff and im not fully specced yet (though im not far off)

this happened on TQ as well early on - XETIC at its hieght had 20000 members out of 100,000 players that was 20% of the player base - not to mention about 1/3 of 0.0 space as well until they blew up internally
But yes the evolution of Serentiy is pretty well where TQ has been and gone

Edited by: Niding on 13/11/2006 12:29:57 I dont find it very extraordinary that they have progressed this fast, given that there are probarly guild ppl on the chinese servers that have played TQ with us.
Plus, they have had access to movies and eve forums from TQ, giving them insight into strategies and setups.
Much can be learned and planned from this, and put into use as soon as the chinese server opened.
That said, Ive had Koreans as my students when I lived in USA, and if their dedication is any measure for the general asian population, they will be a formidable force.

Quote: 10-30mins With gangs of 2 ppl, fly straight to the 5/10 complexes, and get the 9th. (One ppl pull the mobs and the other get the 9th)
30mins - 2 days doing the same thing with 10 gangs for two days. sell all 9th to buy the Cruisers BPOs and buy refine the stuff(e.g. Ospery) NPC sells to build Caracal and its mods.
I'm not understanding this. What is the "9th"? Why is it valuable?
