here
roaming low sec npc hunting i met SCARFACE 420 member of The Good Fella's i asked him if he wanted a 1 on 1 if he did to meet me in top belt. At this point one of his corp mates jumped into the system just as he warped to the belt. I initiated first as i was winning more of his corp mates jumped in and warped over and eventually killed me.
Scareface isnt on the killmail as he warped off in structure but heres who else was involved.

If he never said "Ok lets 1v1" its not a 1v1. You simply told him where you were.

ok i might not specifically said can i just take on his thorax against my rupture not including him and his two friends but i didnt think id needed to there was only me and him in the system at the time.

Although I'm not sure what happened here, all our engagements with The Good Fellas for us have been smack free, clean and to their word.
Seems strange.

None of you actually said anything about a 1v1 to each other and nobody agreed to anything apart from a thorax and rupture shooting at each other.
In a way this was your own fault for beeing too trusting of people you dont know.
You should be more careful and dont go into a "1v1" unless both parties have mentioned those actual words and have agreed.

Dont know what else to say the photo has the convo, it doesnt specifically mention its a 1 v 1 and no one else join in. I know i didnt ask to fight him and his friends though. Fact is when he knew he was losing his friends warped in and helped him out.
Play the game how you like i just wanted a challenge since ratting has become boring i asked him if he wanted a fight between my rupture and his thorax and he said "sure" it seemed like an agreement to me.

Why you'd even bother entering a 1v1 is beyond me. Why give a target any sort of an advantage by letting them know before hand that you want to kill them is stupid in my eyes.
Never mind the rule breaking that happens.

Actually, assuming the comments in the pic are real, Scarface 420 seems to have well known he was going for duel. Even admitting his friends came in since he was going to lose.
So, assumedly we shouldn't trust Good Fellas further. And if dealing with you(r corp), we should demand every agreement clearly written, signed in blood and faxed.

Yes Jadiin me stupid for giving him advanced warning but he was at a gate at the time. And no im not crying about being outnumbered by a guys drones either.

I used to think this way too. since then I've had some great duels and made sure to remember who stands behind his word; To some people their word means a lot.
