This is possibly the most stupid thing I ever did in Eve.
Thought it would be a great time saver to launch all my new POS structures at once from a freighter, then anchor them all in one sitting. Great!
Then comes the message... 15 mins until downtime...
Grr..
I managed to scoop most in a transport, but some will have been lost to the void cos I couldn't anchor/scoop them in time. I guess I'll just have to see how much I lost after dt.

They *should* stay in space after DT, unless you jettisoned them into a cargo container (something I don't think a freighter can do).

O rly?
I thought that any unanchored stuff gets consumed by the db over dt?

If you launched them from cargo they'll stay there until anchored or until someone scoops them. That's why at many POS you'll see fittings unanchored, and secure cans as well. Only jetcans disappear.
Out of curiosity, what moon in what system are you trying to set up?

Jita, only there seems to be a problem with anchoring there.
