can anyone give a definative answer to how many skill points you loose on Death. Does your character get reste back to how you were 'born' with just you basic skills. Unless you have a clone, obviously. Or do you just loose a % of the points from high level skills (i.e 4 and over)

Judging by the new clone levels, I am guessing you keep a certain number of skill points, with the remainder being shaved off all skills.
Don't think you will 'forget' a skill though. Anybody else know any different ?

I got a A+ clone that covers all my skill points and a bit to spare last night on the cheap...

I think there needs to be a quick method of seeing your total skill points so that you can better decide which advanced clone to go for.
Of course, if this is already in game somewhere and I've missed it, I think someone needs to tell me where to find it ;) ------------------------------------------------------------ Bulk Paint Lost In Space |

you can see the number of points a skill has in the char sheet, if you have a total of say 500000 skill points between all your skills, then you buy a clone that only covers 400000 skill points the game randomly deducts the 100000 points form your skills(i think) ----------------------------------------------- "Nemo me impune lacessit" |

My understanding is that you lose 40% of the skills not covered by a clone eg:
Total SP = 1,000,000 Clone = 900,000 100,000 SP at 'risk' 40,000 sp lost.
so if total SP = 1,000,000 NO CLONE 1,000,000 at risk 400,000 SP ,lost
This is how I understand it, could be wrong
