is the ishkur capable of handling gurista 0.0 BS spawns, such as triple 1.7mil spawns?
seems the missile spammers would be harder than the gunboats (like serpentis)... are they still doable, tho?

While i never came across a triple 1.7mil spawn when i was i useing my ishkur i can safely say it is very very good (for an AF) for ratting
Just a small rep in a lowslot and its natural reisits will keep it alive.
T2 drones/guns is a must if you dont want to spend hours killing one BS - make sure you kill the frigs first as these will be doing the most damage to you.

high: t2 small ions with void, small nos
med: ab, 2 cap rechargers
low: t2 rep, 2 damage mods
2 med and 3 light drones, dealing kinetic damage.
entire setup can be fitted as t2. can be used for 8/10 guristas plex, if you have the patience.
Make ECCM viable! Give it 25% to scanning resolution! |

yeah I can confirm on the ishkur being able to take anything down in guristas space with sufficient skills... and it's not too slow either
also, the drones mean you don't burn through as much void, and can take out the frigs faster (use drones for frigs/destroyers)
as for wether they webbed, I've yet to get webbed by them, but I think dire guristas have inties that web/scram... once again, kill them first :)
oh and I like to run with a web and thermic hardener, just to have less "uh oh" moments... but the natural resists should suffice with 2 rechargers

Here's a question I have:
I am wanting to change it up some and move from ratting in 0.0 from my Raven, to my Ishkur.
I only have AF 3 and I'm not really wanted to spend training time to 4 right now.
Would it still be feasible? With T2 Blasters, and either 5 T2 lights or 1 T2 Medium and 4 T2 lights?
IF someone could let me know, that would be great.

Switching down really isnt going to do you many favours - you will make much much more ISK ratting in a raven than ishkur.
The only time you might want to use the ishkur is if ratting in hostile territory and you might need to SafeSpot quickly (and even this isnt that hard in a raven as u can stay alligned while spamming missils)
In summery - keep ratting with the raven, more ISK per hour and about the same to replace (unles ur fit T2)

Very true. I figured as much. I'm not really in "hostile" 0.0, though the odd time someone might fly through. I was hoping to change things up a bit.
My Raven is T2 fitted; it never comes close to blowing up with any spawn I tackle.
Meh. I'll just keep using the Raven. Thought it could be worth a shop. ;)
