I am aiming to break 1000dps tankability on my Eos as a passive tank but to do it I need the A-Type Heat Dissipation & Kinetic modules. Well I could go for various active hardeners but I am aiming for a 100% passive tank so no matter what CTD, AFK at bad times I donÆt have to worry about being dead on warp in before I get to activate my modules.
I live in a hidden complex with 750k BSÆs, 20+ cruisers and some frigs mostly no one else around. Having a CTD and warping back in before activating modules is not nice more so with the very high spawn rate.
So are Pithum A-Type Heat Dissipation & Kinetic modules in game or I am stuck with the dread passive hardeners as the best you can get?
Anyone ever came across better then T2 shield extenders or T2 shield rechargers? The only problem I have with passive tanks are there donÆt seem to be any expensive modules to waste ISK on like active tanks. Once you buy the T2 stuff which is cheap thats it.

I am out of game for awhile, but i spent a lot of time browsing escrow and never saw any passive amps better then DG.
If it`s a complex why can`t u have the hardeners running 24/7? Too many SPR and can only get limited run-time?

I thought hidden complexes weren't supposed to exist?
Anyway, the best bet to see if something drops is to go to EVE-Search and search for the item in Sell Orders.
It didn't come up with anything, so I would say no.

Pithum A-type should drop from the 6/10 Guristas complexes (3 of them), but I've no idea if they actually do.
No, there are no faction/deadspace/officer version of plates/extenders.
Never heard of an officer shield recharger, and there should not be faction/deadspace ones.
Am I forced to have any regret?

Perhaps semi hidden is the best word to use. It does not show up in scanners as a location to warp to. Probes might work never tested.
There is a gate called the hidden gate lending to an area, leading to another area, leading to new area each needing a key with the last gate leading to this complex. One of the keys is not fond inside the complex and that one key once lost cannot be replaced without buying a new one or making an alt.
Also the complex it self does not show up on scanners and its not got the normal 3/10 or */10 level rating. ItÆs about as hidden as they come and the few people who know about it donÆt bother due to the keys others lost the keys so cannot get back in. That and with the complexÆs in sector that do show on scanners there are more distractions making more miss this hidden complex.

ThatÆs what I do now but got bored. I want to do something different for a while. Right now I run 2 SPRÆ with 2 PDS and 1 dread field. Going to swap to 4 SPRÆs and 1 or 2 passive hardeners. The only time I really have problems if if I CTD and warp back in without getting chance to active hardners even thatÆs not been a problem due to the hitpoints.

There are no pithum a-type mods in game. 6/10 guri plex doesnt drop em (it drops... dark blood stuff :S)

Anyone seen "Luther Veron's Modified Shield Extender" ingame?

you're only possibility is to get your hands on some estamel's passive hardeners i believe they are 49.6%,but expect to pay at least 500mil per hardener. Maybe vepas' is an alternative too,but they are even rarer and only 44,7% (same as the a-type you're looking for). I saw 2 estamel's 2 weeks ago,kinetic and em for 825mil each... so good luck

Thanks for that info thatÆs well within my price range. The hard parts going be finding some for sale. I was only looking for a-type as I thought they where the best. Guess I was looking for the wrong thing.

1000dps split between thermal and Kinetic. I use 2*HP regen/((1-0.resistance)+(1-0. resistance))=
To work out the amount I can tank. I use drones only as I gave up on turrets a while back. The only other requirements are 7 cap/s so I can run my gang assist and archaeology module.
