Hey, is there anyone out there that is using the 7900GTX card and run Eve onit? Just got mine, and it doesnt seem to work, so I just wanted to know if there was someone else having this kind of problem?
Running the logserver gives me some information about missing Codecs, but I really dunno if this is because of the card.

Does it work for other games ?
Video card test programs ?
Did you install the correct drivers ?

I had a 7900GTX. EVE worked fine on it for me, its prob your drivers mate

Aye, it do work for alot of other games.
Hopefully the driver that came with the package is the right one :P, but I'll head to nvidia and check if there is any newer drivers too.

I use a 7900gtx and I have no problems.
If I run it even slightly above the Nv reference speeds I get texture corruption though, but that's not limited to Eve.

Completly reinstalled Eve, and it didnt work.
Completly reinstalled the gfx-drivers, and it didnt work.
Downloaded the latest drivers (released 2 Nov.), and I still get the exact same errors in LogServer, so I am starting to believe it is something else that buggers this system.
Only if I could get CCP to llok at the logs and point me in the right direction, my addiction to this game is starting to freak me out :P

You could always petition the problem, they might be able to help you

7900GS here. Works fine.
Sorry you're having trouble. Have you run burn-in tests?
I used to have a TNT 2 that gave me graphics corruption on any game except MechWarrior4, AoE, and Close Combat. I was convinced that Microsoft was somehow controlling my computer so it would only play their games correctly.
I ran some various tests, and the ones that stressed VRAM froze the machine, so I felt safe in assuming it was a bad vram chip. Replaced the card with one of the old Kyro-II cards (nobody remembers those, lol) and everything worked great.
You might try doing something similar.

All is fine, I suugest you go to the nvidia website and grab a copy of the latest drivers.

could you post the error here?
or make a screenshot from the logserver showing the error (make sure no loginnames are visible)

I have MSI 7900GTO and have bug. Screen fills with mess, but returns to normal after going to windows desktop and back to game.
card is overclocked but dont think it is about that.
