Learn how to use your scanner properly and you will quickly become succesful. Then once you have all the basics join a pvp corp and take your learning to thenext level. There are always players you can learn from no matter what your age is in the game

You will not be the first new charcter that screws his sec stat within a week and can't fix it an will be stuck in low-sec. Cheers, Jan

Iv never once fitted stabs on any ship bar my Badger, and i can tell you that not once has any other member of Darkside Inc fitted stabs on a combat ship while i have been involved in any fights. Darkside inc. are a good team to get hooked up with. Not sure how theyre fairing now, but theyre a good crew. And do seem to p*ss off corps by killing em! Always a good sign.

I started my char as miner, but after 2 weeks of mining I realised it is not for me ... So I started to train combat skills, but empire wars was still not enough as we did run out of them and PVP was not 24/7. So after quick thinking I left my anti pirate corp and joined Deviance Inc. . Last night made it to -5.1 yaarrr Never ever had such fun and rush blowing up others, ransoming, camping gates and generaly having fun. Think about piracy as the highest level of risk and entertainment. You will be hated by players you blow up, but their smack talk is very amusing I hated going to weddings. All the grandmas would poke me saying "You're next". They stopped that when I started doing it to them at funerals.

Alowishus Shadow Company Alektorophobia	Posted - 2006.11.16 23:19:00 - [25] When I was in a pirate corp we had great fun and downed plenty of nice targets as a group but the fact was the majority of my kills, 95% or more, were solo. Either belt piracy or sentry tanking at gates. So I agree with the folks that say to go solo at first. Belt piracy comes down to 99% scanning skill. You have to get into a system and find potential targets before they notice you. Ransoming barges is your best source of revenue. Killing noobs in destroyers isn't that gratifying but it happens and you can always refine the loot for minerals to sell or build ships or sell them outright. Only 5% of your encounters will be ransoming someone worthwhile (barges) but this will be 95% of your income. Good luck. The moderators here are excellent at policing signatures.

Was funny, his excuse was along the lines of "Well you guys blob, im not stupid" lol. All I gotta say is, it's really pathetic that we recieved the war dec, were told we had better stay docked or lose ships, then they show up in a 4 stab thorax, and a 4 stab geddon. And yes I'm sure of 4 stabs, as I am sure those ships cannot negate 4 points of scramble without 'help'.
