Kali patch is a 35 mb download (patch for sisi currently from tranq version), this one is only 5 MB.

They paused Kali testing on Sisi for a bit so they could try out some hotfixes for tranquility that are fairly minor from our end I suppose. Who knows, but 5.6 megs for a downloader ability alone seems rather chunky

Why don't you just wait for the client to tell you that you need a patch, instead of flapping about wether or not to install it yet?
If it says you do, install it. If it doesn't say you do, don't. Simple really!

i just hope that this is not the patch for that they took down sisi for 2 days .... taking down the (in my eyes important) testserver short before a big update, just to change the autopatcher seems kinda small compared to the probs kali has atm

I installed the patch, TQ status is currently "Not accepting connections"
So if you're smart *unlike me* you wait until after DT to see if this patch is kosher or not.
I might be looking at a reinstall now, woot

CCP: Why donŠt you release any official announcement of this patch or any patch notes?
Reason for the big patch (according to inofficial info by a dev in IRC): The main code-files has to be replaced. I would explain it that they are structured a bit differently, but contain nearly the same content.
Apart from this internal change some changes to the German translation were made.

Yeah what they hell... Would be nice of CCP to take the 20 seconds of time it takes them to update the website stating a patch has been put on and a quick brief on it.
