OK! we'w all had it.. mostly it happens to your repair, shield booster, or MWD You want to turn it off.. but it keeps blinking orrange (red?) Your cap is draining, and/or you'r speed is to high to hitt anything..
Here's the little Ninja trix: Move one (any) of your other modules to an other slott.. just drag it. The "stuck" module will turn back to green blinking, and you can turn it off again
Fogy for president!! GIVE HIM YOUR ISKIES!!

Any idea if this works when guns get stuck during reloading? I lost a harpy a while back because I couldn't shoot back thanks to that bug. Might have lost anyway but at least I wouldn't have felt quite so helpless.

Im not sure if it works for guns stuck while reloading.. but draging ammo from your cargo to the gun might help (iirc) Also, the gun might gett bugged again on next reload.

In my experiance draging ammo from the cargo to the gun (or visa-versa) does stop the gun malfuctioning. Also works with missile launchers that get stuck in a reload cycle.

Maybe there are differant "versions" of the bug, but it's worked for me several times without a doubt. _______________________________________________

there is another way to do this.
Go to the small triangle thing and
Click unlock modules.
That makes everything go un stuck.

The drag another module technique does indeed work when a module gets stuck on a re-load cycle.
I know this to be true and have tested it on many occasions of late (very annoying when those 6 cruise launchers get stuck)

last time i tried i could drag ammo from the hold to the gun/launcher. yes. but it wouldnt cure the bug. so you had to reload manually til the next docking operation.
but dragging guns/launchers around the hotkey positions didnt cure the blinky thing or reload the gun.
thats what i meant.
and it was about 2 or 3 weeks back.

Edited by: Fogy on 14/11/2006 16:41:32 Seems like there is several diferent "states" of the reloading bugg.. atleest in one of the "states" dragging ammo from your cargo, to the weapon helps.. (But in my experience it only works for that cycle, and will need to be repeated untill your next docking session)
If/when this fails, docking might be the only option to cure this.
Could some one test if draging guns/modules around when having the reload bugg, only works when the manual reloading works? and the other way.
Edit: Draging a module around the hottkey positions works whena mwd/repper/booster getts stuck, and has worked for me on every ocation. DONT KNOW IF IT WORKS WHITH THE RELOADING BUGG THOUGH.
