Had problems patching. Patch froze so I aborted. Tried to start again to be told files were corrupt and to reinstall client. Reinstalled client but was unable to patch (unable to locate patchfile for your build no 3796. Downloaded client again but when unpacking am getting loads of unable to open file error messages. Here's an idea how about testing patches before they are implamented but wait that means someone might have to do some work

How about putting out uncorrupted patches? Can't get this patch at all, keeps saying.
"The patch was downloaded but it failed verification indicating that the
file is corrupt. Would you like to download the file again?
You will not able to enter the game until you download the patch"
Sort it please!

I'm also getting the message:

Keep trying it, but no luck so far

Many attempts have yeilded patch failed verification. SO, no EVE. You patched your patcher and now it is not working.

I had the same problem but I manually downloaded the patch, ran it and everything is ok.

at least you can dload something.. all i get is no route to host when i try to get the patch.
tried the manual dload... keep getting cannot find the server... alternative location gives same problem...
btw why is the alternative dload location on the same server as the primary? kinda defeats the object doesn't it?

The auto-downloader downloaded the 25245 patch, started up, and said that there
was a missing file:
tut2.stuff
This corrupted my client; so, I tried manually downloading and installing. I see
the same problem.
Should I download the full 25245 setup, or is there a patch to the patch coming out soon?

Ah, well, after an hour of messing with it and 17 attempts, it has successfully downloaded and passed verification.

Got it on both of my PCs. 1 PC i was able to manually patch, and 1 i am not.
Bug report has been filed.

perhaps someone who managed to manualy dload a non corrupted working patch could upload it somewhere so those who can't get it from the usual location have an alternative :)

Ok took inspiration from Imbri and managed to dload it on another machine :)
have uploaded the patch for those still having probs.
