Ok this is not a rant I'm asking for advice on what I should do with my character in EVE, please read before commenting.
I've been playing EVE for almost 2 years now, I've got 500mil in hard ISK and about the same in assets, with 20mil SP flying HAC's and most T2 stuff.
All this and I never log in much, I'm sick of looking at missions and mining, what should I do to make my gaming experience more fun?
Thanks for reading, and please no flames or "can I have your stuff" comments.

I would strongly suggest going pirate for some PVP in 0.0 it's great fun.
P.S. it's bored.

Get involved in politics. Use that money to pay mercs to do your bidding.
I am convinced that is far more fun than pew pew pew

Pirate, or anti-pirate. Both will get you into the swing of things. So yah, PVP!

Iw been there (eccept the 500mill isk etc..) I used to be a empire carebear.. got so bored of it i went out pirating.. wich wasnt what i realy wanted.. Then i got the opurtunaty to join Rubra, and from there its been all PVP for me :) Carebearing i only do to keep myself with shipps/assets.
so.. PVP no doubt.. you dont need to go for pirating, you can join a PVP corp, that lives in 0.0 and fight on regular bases. you'll loos allot of shipps at first.. but once you gett a hold of it.. you'll have a blast!
Cheers! Fogy

I started eve pretty much at the beginning and carebeared it up for about 6 months and then left game cos i was bored. cam back 6 months after and started pvp'ing, been hooked since. whether it's alliance wars, low sec piracy, solo pvp'ing, it's all good fun to try. pimp out some ships and use up that isk

Y'all still recommend PVP despite the server lag in fleet operations, lag to pod after ship destruction allowing the destruction of pods, log off antics of opponents, BM copying server lag, and all the rest of the handicaps to a good PVP experience?
Why?

Thanks for the constructive comments, except the ones about the spelling mistake, nobody likes a smart a** now.
As for trying PvP it's an option but if I fitted my ships out with expensive equipment and headed for 0.0 I feel this would only be a short lived fun, the more ships I lose the more I would need to run missions or mine to replace them, and that brings me back to my current problem.
Besides I've never found much fun in PvP, the times when I have done it I found it an expensive practice. I think I will put my account into suspension for a few months and see what new content there is down the line. Thanks again to the constructive comments.

There will be new content in less than 2 weeks, if the release date is accurate.

I made 500M over a 4 day long weekend last week killing rats in 0.0 all day. Join a corp/alliance that claims a piece of 0.0 and the game is fun. What makes this game good is the alliance politics/warfare. I never understood how people can play this game if they do not enjoy PvP. EVE has the best PvP system of any MMO in existence, have fun with it.

There's PLENTY of GREAT pvp to be had, you just only hear about the bad things.
Alliance fleet pvp = - but other forms = win. .

I see most of the ideas only seem to be PvP related, I've never been a fan of PvP in any game, I know many think that EVE is a PvP only style game but I would like to think that EVE is so much more than shooting things.

Not ganking, planking.
Have you tried the industrial side of the game? Building things and what not? That might be your thing. Better yes, join a 0.0 alliance and build something greater than yourself. --------------------------------------------- Forum Wars!...Because the battlefeild is laggy. |

I've got a load of industy skills and have been building ships and mining for a long time, I hope Kail will get me interested again. As for joining a 0.0 alliance, I've tried some corps that have a 0.0 presence but none have taken me up on my application.
