So been searchimg and really most fits/posts are years old and dont take the rapid missile nerf.
Any tactics for medium autocannons and fits? I saw a 100mn ab fit but dont want to do that.
Targets will be cruiser and down with maybe a pve fit battleship mixed in.
Thinking XL ASB with medium autocannons, web 10mn ab scram invulnerable shield. 2 gyros 1 TE a nano and a DC.
Dont know about rigs except 1 EM resist.
And i found lots of fits like this with 3 gyros? No TE?
I thought medium autocannons had a tracking nerf a few years ago.
Would 2 gyros and 1 TE be better now?
Thanks |

Missiles still work on an Scythe Fleet. In fact... (dare I say it)... they work better than ACs.
Use it like a kiting Caracal that can actually kite (the SyFI is MUCH faster). However you deal less raw missile damage compared to a Caracal (which the SyFI makes up for with a full compliment of light drones).
Heavy Missiles are also viable if you slap on a Target Painter and use T2 Precisions.

Rapid Lights still work very well on a ScyFI as shah says, you would run it with a kite fit to capitalize on the speed. I would stay far away from HAMs and Heavies though as both of those weapon systems are...subpar to say the least. In a brawl setup you would definitely go for ACs. An AB fit with XLASB you're suggesting can work nicely, the ScyFI has a small sig and excellent speed so you can speed tank quite well with an AB. As for needing a TE, tracking shouldn't be an issue if you go with dual 180s, anything larger will cause tracking issues if you're close orbiting with an AB. I'd go triple gyro with dual 180s if you want to go for that sort of set up.
Generally speaking the ScyFI is very versatile, you can fit it a bunch of different ways quite effectively. |

No, Missiles have damage bonus, Projectiles have RoF bonus. |
