I guess this is the reason i crasehd to desktop with out any explanation. The problem is my hoarder is in the middle of a roid belt, and i had just unanchored my giant container full of ore:( Hope its ok when i get back on.

I've also noticed that the players online number stays at the same amount all through this ordeal, witch obviously is wrong. Guess server is taking a nap or something... Considered clearing cache, but not sure if it will solve anything, and don't want to go through all the hazzle of resetting all folders in my bookmark list...

yes - but the number hasn't changed and I've been reloading the eve login for the last 10 minutes - so for all we know everyone could be offline!
Someone probably tripped over a power lead, or turned the machine off when they went home.... If it's recognised soon then we should be up and running tonite, otherwise it could be until tomorrow!! ARGH!
BTW: if someone did trip over the power cable to one of the servers then I'm first inline to bash them with a big stick!

Same here, can't log in.....
authenticating......then nothing......just stays at login screen.
Yes there are stil 3140 people on-line (ghosts or still playing?)
This happened Monday morning about 6am gmt as well.....too almost 2hrs to get on that time
Hope it's back quicker this time

Well, sigh. I realy feel for the guys in 0.0 sys or a dog fight with an old enemy. Lucky me - I was just docking. But if I had lost my Moa to this typical CCP ****-up, I would be as ****ed off as hell. But then - the sun would come up 'cause CCP would replace my loss (caused by them) - wouldn't they?

Im guessing then that the 3140 was the number of people logged on when it occured... so just think when we log back on to find we have lost our stuff... how long is that going to take to sort out??? 3000 peoples problems?? they'll just tell us they cant compensate. Other than a restore of the last backup, what else can they do? even then those of us who mine alot will be behind too.
Im sure im not the only one who has posted a very angry petition at the time of the incident, and im sure many of us have lost alot due to this.. But seriously, what do you expect them to do? They have always told me in the past they cannot compensate my loss due to having no evidence or log of what i have lost and what im actually due. I guess this is to stop people exploiting the system, where in fact its more than likely just going to p!ss people off and cause many people to give up the game.
Im continuously plagued with CTD's, upto 15 a day (that was a record set yesterday). I dont know what i can do to rectify the situation other than play eve less and reduce the risk of losing something valuable.
Ah well, its what we get for playing a game that should of stayed in beta for so much longer.
