Give galante 5% thermal dmg to drones so it is compareable to caldari kin dmg bonus.. since not all caldari ships have kin dmg bonus on missiles, why shold galante have on all drones??.. ccp plz have a look at this... it needs ballancing.... also make drone ships mutch higher drone bay, since it is afterall main dmg is drones. also make it so only medium drones can be used on a crusier and bc.... why shold a crusier use bs siced drones ??? make ballance..

you are an idiot, however ALOT of people make this mistake so i have to retract my statemeent, just because it says "HEAVY" does NOT mean it is a bs sized weapon, heavy drones do not equal to the damage of a bs turret not by a long shot. drones are supplementary. they add to the damage a ship does. however for gallente drones are a primary weapon, and lets face it heavy drones are easy to pop. dont have enough time to add more information so your gonna have to settle for now.
oh and PLEASE run spellcheck before your next post...i think im gonna have to go back through english class again afer that post.....oh wait i have it in my next hour

Thermal>Kinetic>Explosive>EM if I recall correctly. _________________________________________

Drones do different damage based on which one you choose, missiles do not, thus you get stuck with a damage bonus to kinetic.

Damage modifiers on tech 2 (heavy) drones: Ogre II (therm) - 1.92 Wasp II (kin) - 1.74 Berzerker II (exp) - 1.56 Praetor II (em) - 1.38

If you extend this idea to missiles, you would get somethng like this for torps:
Kinetic Torp - 450 (=450*1.92/1.92) EM Torp - 408 (=450*1.74/1.92) Explosive Torp - 366 (=450*1.56/1.92) Thermal Torp - 323 (=450*1.38/1.92)
Adding a 25% damage bonus to that would yield:
Kinetic Torp - 562.5 EM Torp - 510 Explosive Torp - 457.5 Thermal Torp - 403.75
So for everything except thermal you would come out ahead, but would still give up some DPS in exchange for the ability to change damage types just like projetiles and drones. Torps used for example only, the idea would have to be extended to all missiles. Numbers would have to be played around with as well.

Signed, but forget about that 25% dmg bonus though. Also, give them different flight time and velocity's.

The 25% damage bonus would be from the ship bonus, which since I used torps doesn't make that much sense given that the Raven has a RoF bonus, but the idea is basically the same when applied to other missiles. I wouldn't mind seeing a change in velocity and explosion veloctiy similar to the velocity and tracking differences in drones.
I have FF at home, but sadly I'm not at home and can't install it here :(
