I've only really spent an excessive amount of time in DNA, but with stop overs in Finite Horizon, Guiding Hand Social Club and Black Nova Corp, I've kept my limited employment history a cut above the rest.
DNA is my spiritual home, and until Nilkarus left I never considered leaving. FZN was nice up until the idiocy of Levin and Madcap became too much. Black Nova was an experience, rolling with BOB on the Easter weekend was something I'll never forget.
I will always remember the time MGRL declared upon FZN and valiantly tried to show us the error of our heterosexual ways!
You take what is offered. And that must sometimes be enough. |

Edited by: Yodaron Ballsithor on 18/11/2006 16:28:16 Edited by: Yodaron Ballsithor on 18/11/2006 16:25:52 Black Avatar. Simply because I have really been in no other corporation and I have been a member of the BA gaming community for 7-8 years (time goes fast).
My history will tell you I was a member of The Council, but that was a friend playing my character for a year when I was gone, although The Council was a corporation that developed from BA and most, if not all, of the members I truely like and have enjoyed playing with.
I fondly remember some of the CFS days. When I was president, and many can probably confirm this, there were many times while engaging in alliance activities we would have Ends (sad that he chose a different path) playing guitar and singing, me telling hundreds of jokes, Grave and his wife entertaining us, and all the while Mindecho, Levin, Madcap, and others of us would be engaging M0o at the jump in point to A2 (before they were at the jumpgates). Good times.
FIX, hands down concerning alliances I have been a part of. Realize, I left just before FIX actually formed as an alliance in the days that there was no game mechanic to create alliances, but I followed FIX from day 1 and of course joined it when I came back. Many of the folks are those I have known from the early days of the game and the ones I did not know have been a pleasure (even including Dark Shikari ).
On the opposite side of the scale, I would also have to say Stain like Weirdbeard, except the only Stain I have to relate to is from the SA/CA days. BA had a great relationship with Trigger and many Stain member corporations and I found them honorable and trustworthy folk to deal with. When we joined FA our relationship continued on a good path, but given the direction FA ultimately chose with SA I fully understand the change in direction this relationship experienced in the end.
I miss Nez and the J.E.H.N.R. boys, the original Ominous group, a good chunk of Outbreak, and many others that I have had the privilege and opportunity to play and interact with. Those were, indeed, good times.
I have been recently offered to pursue another opportunity in Eve that would offer a different avenue to pursue in this game. Currently I am on hiatus but will be back in a reasonable time. I may or may not take this offer when I return, but I will say that if I do I will carry with me great memories of a group of dedicated people I am proud to call my allies.
In closing, I felt the need to say that if MGRL is "sadly 'mute' for the most part atm", then as I posted in Backdoor's Test post, I will kindly back up to the wall and protect my rear , a lessen some alliances in the game need to incorporate into their strategies.

Never known anything but StateCorp, and I don't suppose I ever will.
Alliance-wise, I'd have to say I enjoyed Huzzah the most. While it was frustrating at times, it was at least a target rich environment, seeing as we were where it seemed every single alliance ever brought little raiding squads for some R&R. Great fun.
And the spirit within the alliance was better than any other I've been a part in.
In terms of enemies, <3 FIX. They were always up for a good scrap.

hmm lets see
I was in....
Norad - for a week until i was told 0.0 was dangerous and to stay out of it (loong looong time ago) COD - My first 0.0 experience NSA - Made good friends in that alliance but saddly most the friendships died when BoB killed the alliancenull Iron - Alliance formed out of friendship and mutual respect, i was very proud of beeing a part of it, unlike some stooopid liars out there who felt like i betrayed the alliance when i left (nutcases) I left on good terms and still have friends in it BoB - This alliance tought me all i know, real brothers in arm and i dont think it comes as a suprise to anyone when i say that im most proud beeing a part of such a great group of people. <3 BoB
Anyway, yeah thats it i guess

without a doubt CONIN pre-mc. Back when the only mining done was data mining of our next target, not for outposts/faction setups on a navy mega (hi dol) the corp newb had over 10mil sp , not a newb who fits RCU+ cap recharger on rail PVP taranis (hi gavax), and we made up fake contracts against decent fights, not fake contracts against push overs (hi Maelstrom/bigblue)
Pre-MC conin, awesome corp, amazing skill, and so many fun times. Other than the huge backlog of fun times, ive got everything i ever wanted currently in REV inc. and the backlog of fun times is growing daily

What can I say? I live and die for Hunters Agency, I've been in it for 90% of my time in EVE now and I wouldn't want to leave it for the world.
I've seen it grow from a near-dead corporation to an efficient, fun and large corporation, and above all: Community.
Wouldn't want to play EVE anymore without them. And there's always a place for the MGRL in my heart even though I'm not in it ;)

ALTZ is simply the best corp i could ever find in eve. theres no one i'd rather fly with, and no one i trust more, alcatraz has some of the most skilled pilots ive ever seen/fought, but they just dont make a big deal about it. garanteed if Gauss belloid or commander chielzzz make an eve video they would be as recognised as farjung or axel, but they're never bothered with the fame etc you can get out of eve, just the fun. altz is a corp dedicated to doing whatevers the most fun, and thats what sets it so apart from anyone else ive flown with.
alliances, i guess RA was the most fun i had, just the fact that every battle was a struggle against the numbers and the odds, any other alliance in game would give up in some of RA's situations, but they push on despite what gets thrown at them. ---

I really liked Vengeance of The Fallen. They are a crazy bunch of PvP-ers that imo have deleted the word "fear" from their dictionary. Good odds, bad odds, they fight if they want to.
"How much of them? 50? How much are we, 20? That sounds fair ... gear up, lets go!", is one of the sentences that still flashes through my mind every time I now swoop onto a target.
Dreamworks and Xirtam are quite entertaining during a fleet op. Straightforwardness, fearless and a tad chaotic ... I like them.

Corp-wise I've got love for the two corps I've spent most of my Eve-Online career with; SFHI and RDEX. SFHI were the first 'big' corp I'd been involved with, and remember being with them during the collapse of the CFS and our move to SA. Still nothing but respect for SFHI, pilots and leadership both. RDEX were the corp the Old Man and I formed after leaving SFHI; we've had an open-door policy for newbs and veterans alike, and have a good mix of players in the corp who all work together be it in stripping a belt, camping a gate, or figuring WTF happened to one of our carriers ;-)
Alliance-wise, the old SA back when CA were a threat, and also TRIBE even though it had its faults, it's hard to hate an entity that provided you with such great fun!

Originally by: Tetovo Hmm as far as fun goes I would have to say BYDI. Ugluuk is simply, the ****. Unfortunately at the time I joined the corp was on the decline(back now) and the timezones simply weren't working out :(. Been in Art of War about 6 months even though there is some garbage in between on the employment history but yeah, there is a story to that. I don't know if I could say one corp is better than the other, had tons of fun in both corps tbh.
As far as alliances go. I've been in Stella Nova United, V and now Anarchy Empire. No contest there, Pretty much everyone that was awesome in V is in RIOT anyway. PS Can my alt Reacharound Richie get into the MGRL?
Thats not a fair comment tbh. I need to also bring over: 1) The few fuco that went to bed with ebil Outbreaks before FUCO-AWAR-ITFB were reunited. 2) Bring El-toppolino and Stuart Waterman back from perma-afk. 3) Seduce Light Darkness (I am trying I am trying) and hopefully other SERA friends. 4)Get Putukas and the other 2-3 old E.E. diehards to come over. 5)Steal a few select INFOD and Sensus num (exampl. Ltd Thor + Damige). My New Year's resolution and then you will indeed be right Tetovo.
Arguably my opinions represent to an extent the opinions of my alliance and in particular circumstances give rise to a valid "casus belli" claim. |

I haven't been apart of many corps however the ones I've been in have displayed some very fine times. RKK for and BoB for teamwork and ultimate pwnage to any other entity, my own corp HSY for being laid back, no stress think when pvping and ofc fighting when outnumbered (challenge).
If I was to move on I'd probably join one of the following:
Sharks with fricken laser beams [FRICK] (love the big mercenary thing) TASOP [TASOP] (want ot be part of something small but yet again big)
Alliance wise, I really deep down miss CFS, Coalition of Free Stars was a totally diffrent alliance based on the good side. Pity it had to crumble with orders of CFS council. I shall never forget CFS and it's glorous days...

As far as corps go, I've only known Ars Caelestis... joined on my first day in the game, actually. Out of any group in any MMO I've played, Ars C is definitely my favorite.
Alliances? I enjoyed Huzzah. Many good people and plenty of fun PVP opportunities (FIX! ) ASCN so far has been wonderful also, in completely different ways. Not really able to compare the two, so I'm just gonna say that both are awesome.

Some of my best memories of the game are related to the Ushra'Khan: I have met many great people in there. Some of them moved to Reikoku, a lot of them are still true to the Minmatar dream; they all are quality people. Oh, btw hi Archie, u bastid amarr slaver!
Then there is Red Dwarf Mining Corps, when Smeggy was still a biiiig carebear (now he is a bigger carebear with teeth).
And I cannot forgot Legionari, a mostly Italian corp part of FiX since a lot of time. Now they are 'international', if you wanna enjoy the game in a very laid back way and take part to pvp at the same time, they are one of the best choices available out there !
Lastly we have Reikoku, a great bunch of guys. It is the corp that after 3,5 years of roaming in this universe I like to call 'home'.
Of course I am not making justice to all the other nice people that I have met in this game. It has been a pleasure to meet every single one of you.
