It downloads patch, but when trying to install it, it displays an error message, I previously used the repair tool as a workaround, now I can't and I honestly dont understand why CCP had to stop is patching

At least you can play now, I tried to run the rescache and it got stuck on file 762 out of 14,000...been there for 2 hours.
Hate is too kind a word to describe how I feel about this Launcher. |

not better for much in the game. There is a short launcher update, but lagging for 2-3 hours while the ingame updater grinds away.
Much rather have the one time update, then at least I knew how long until the game was available. he way it currently is, only works if you want to sit in a station for 2-3 hours while the game updates. Forget trying to do anything outside the station unless you want to lose your ship. |

i guess im a little confused as to how CCP can listen to feedback about literally ANYTHING ELSE and "fix" it but this shitass ******* launcher is too much of a challenge. i tried updating during a storm and my power blinked restarting my computer, corrupted the whole file and since THEY BROKE THE ******* REPAIR TOOL was forced to reinstall and the installer is even broken. installs the launcher but it wont patch anything just comes up like the client is all there and wont do anything after hitting the play button. forced it to cache the whole game and still nothing. wiped everything and redid it, all still broke. played the game for 9 years and cant even get a decent launcher, **** me right? |

So it doesn't work even after reinstalling? WTF are we supposed to do? I want to run rescache but I can't afford to use my whole monthly quota on something that isn't going work just to test it.
Please stop breaking things. Please go back to exefile. Why do you even release a new theme with each expansion if you can't listen to it on the login screen? |
