Im looking for a useful very long range sniper setup for pvp. I like being a one shot wonder type thing. Can anyone give me some ideas?

might want to reconsider until kali comes out and see if you can still snipe with the hp boost

well, to begin with... there is no 1 shot kill machine... not really...
but there are some snipers...
Tempest
Armageddon
Apocalypse
Megathron
Rokh (probaly gonna be the one with the longest range)
Eagle (Caldari Heavy Assault Cruiser)
non of these is a pwn machine... Rokh, with the longest range, can be out damaged by the Megathron, Tempest and Geddon... Geddon and Tempest have a quite weak tank... Apoc has a good tank, but cannot sustain fire... Geddon and Apoc are the only ones that don't need ammo...
the Rokh will come out this month, it's the Caldari Tier 3 bs... i don't have enough info about the Abbadon and Maelstrom to say if they are good in sniping...

eagles only really good against frigs tbh.

you really need t2 guns for the extra range.
with t1 guns there all around the same price except arma which is tier1 and cheaper.

The Armageddon is a very useful sniper for the price, and its pretty damaging too. The only problem is you need 2 RCUs to fit a full rack of tachs, as well as heat sinks, and track enhancers (three med slots mean generally only able to use a single tracking computer as well as the two sensor booster IIs) so there is no room for things like a plate which would help you live a bit longer when getting shot.
