Every few months I resub to eve just to see whats happening and find out whether or not CCP finally decided they wanted to make the game good again. I am time and time again greeted with an ugly new user interface component and no option to revert to the old style. Every patch like this I complain on these forums and every time the thread is deleted or locked, but I am going to try again anyway.
These new icon's for ships/everything are the biggest eyesore yet, they're illogical, nonsensical and ugly. IF you insist on changing cosmetic aspects of the game why on earth wouldn't you give players the option to use the icon pack that they've been using for years instead of your new garbage one? How hard could it possibly be to allow me to choose between a new icon pack, old icon pack, custom icon pack or whatever... I don't know if you realize your game is dying or if you're in denial but simple things like this would go a long way in helping retain the pitiful amount of subs you still have logging into your stagnant game. |

they don't want players to toggle icons in order to give them more control over "the user experiance"
last numbers i looked at the player base was growing not dyeing so citation needed.
Fuel block colors? Missiles for Caldari T3? Corp Stasis

Redundancy huh?, I bet that even with so many redundant threads being made by so many different people nothing will be changed, it's the CCP way.

generaly those opposed to the idea will speak up more than those who like it or that are indifferent even if there are more of them
and do you have a bigger graph?
showing winter 14 and spring 15 is not a good gauge since membership always dips the closer you get to summer and fozzie sov this yeah has also helped as people have stepped away waiting for it to be implemented

There really is no right or wrong in this scenario. Simply allowing people an option one way or the other seems like it would be no effort by CCP on their part, but they insist on forcing these changes upon us, do you disagree?
You can google eve-offline and look at the lifetime server stats. |
