As planetary interaction will be introduced little by little in EVE, will we see planetary bombardement coming along ?
Now we can now destroy POS then wouldn't it be nice to do the same with the stations installed on the planets ?  
Or will it be too heavy to implement ?

I would love it if it was.
at the same tiem allow planetary control that generates trade gods so that they finally have a use in sustainnig planetary economies and allow alliance to stand aside from the empires totally by making their own goods if they control a wide enough range of planets! (Pos fuelling made easy!).
But lets wait and see how station interaction goes. the last thing I want to see in non-ship based PVP. Personal PVP would most likely suck big time.

I'm getting flashbacks to Trade Wars 2002 again. If they modelled planetary combat like TW2002 handled it, that'd be awesome =).
Better get started on building a Quasar Cannon :P.

It looks wicked. But I don't see it happen in Eve, are any other space game in the near future. Maybe in spore but thats not a real space game.

It's not just a fun thing, you basically have to do it as per the EVE fiction.
Chimera:It was most famously flown by the legendary Admiral Yakia Tovil-Toba directly into Gallente PrimeÆs atmosphere, where it fragmented and struck several key locations on the planet
Give me planetary bombardment and I'm sure as hell finding a way to drop a Chimera in to Gallente Prime.

Thought you lot might like to know, planatery bombardment is alreaady inEve, such as it is. A databas search reveals items specefically designed for planatary bombardment.
One is a missile launcher that is to be loaded with marines or something.
