I've been looking over the contracts system and while it seems very nice, I can't see how you view contracts outside your current region. Sure, there's a 'view other region' option, but it only lets you view 1 region at a time which isn't much use, because there are too many regions to go through 1 by 1. Is there some way of doing this or is there going to be a lot more work involved in viewing all availible contracts?

This is the compromise between the "See every region" the players wanted, and the "Only see current region" that was initially planned.
It could be (was planned to be worse), but yes, you'll have to work harder to check every region for "escrow" like stuff.
Mind you, the one-hour/1000 escrow global limit thing shouldn't be a problem anymore, so hopefully no more need to de/re-escrow your stuff every few hours to keep it on the global list...

That's stupidity. Where's the logical explanation for having to check every region?

Other than the fact that escrow were introduced as a stop gap measure with more than just a few flaws creating a system that sucked rocks??

It was considered too easy. And we dont want eazmode, do we? More pain =^ more fun, thats how CCP thinks.
The truth is- they said they are going to combat hubs, so according to CCP logic, the next feature they introduce makes it a total pain to conduct interregional trade...
I think you know how they plan to fix the "snipefest at 200km+" fleet problem, right ...? Same logic.
