So I was headed back way before the 2 hour mark to collect loot and all of a sudden around 20 ships pop and pretty much things got ugly from there. Corpmate says that the Fleet spawn starts around 70 minutes so why is it worded differently? |

i believe it say approx 2hrs and i believe too that includes the time you take to clear the first pocket.
if i am going to pick up the loot i usually bm the a can in each area i need to go... close the mission then go back in my hauler :)

AFAIK, the timer starts ticking from the second you accept the mission.
I've done this mission a few times and the 2 hours mentioned in the mission briefing has been rather accurate.

Piggybacking - What types of ships spawn after the timer expires?
I have done this mission (Lv 3) two times in a row now and was curious.

8-9 battleships, 4-5 battlecruisers, about 10 cruisers and 4-5 frigates. Some of the cruisers are a ***** to kill, they are NPC assault cruisers and have resistances to match. They spawn in 2 or 3 groups somewhere between the amarr control tower and the acceleration gate. The combined bounty of the rats is about 8-9 million ISK.

This was the first lvl 3 mission I was assigned.
I got owned terribly. (T1 fitted Thorax, my mistake)
What ships are you guys running this in and how are they fitted out?

Battleships. Note that the part where you get the Amarr reinforcements on you, you really need to have a properly fitted ship, because if the battleships get at their optimal range your shields will melt like butter in a frying pan and your armor almost as fast.

Autocannons and missiles and armor tanking (can you spell Typhoon). Again for the Amarr reinforcement part you need fit properly, ditch the autocannons and fit something longer ranged.
