I was wondering was anybody else getting stuck in char selection,I clik on my char, screen goes black messege entering game as...... the bar fills up ,but my char doesnt enter the station whats up?

Try deleting everything except prefs.ini in your cache folder. I think thats what got me working again.

Aye, has happened to me, but I have deleted the entire cache folder with no luck! |

yep tried it and nothin happens at all now. i start client add my pw and everthing loads but it doesnt go into the char sel screen at all now,now i get a local session corrupt error -the clients local session is corrupt prbably because of a failed cleanup well thta cant be i cant even get into the test server

Thats because you deleted the cache while the client was running. Exit client, remove cache, start client again and it will work as normal.

I deleted while client wasn't running and no luck, both my mains on my 2 accounts and the other hasn't even been loged in for a few days. Must be something more, alts can login no problem. |

This is the kind of thing where we would like some interaction from those above, obviously this is happening to multipul players and would be nice to here something like "We know and are looking into it" or "We know and have no idea" Dosen't make a differance either way just a responce.
I understand if it's just one person, but this isn't isolated to one person, I am by no means ripping on them just making a statement.

How to get stuck entering station:
buy myrmidon
make myrmidon active
admire its bugged invisible model
undock to see if you're in a super stealth ship
dock, disappointed, that you are not
wait 30 minutes on 'entering station' status bar
log out
log in
wait 30 more minutes on 'entering station' status bar
file bug report
wait some more
cry
come to foums

well i just recopied my evefolder and repatched it and still im stuck on entering station i hope this gets sorted out soon or a dev response would be nice.

Yep, I had to wait until the test server hit downtime to get unstuck. No amount of pursuasion from me would do it.
I wouldn't mind so much if I could play live server at the moment, but I've been waiting 13 days now with no response to my "high priority," game crippling petition, so all I have is test server. DON'T MAKE ME HAVE TO GO OUTSIDE, CCP!

I can log on with my alt so its not my pc its a server thing so i hope i can get on later after a reboot plz devs

Server reboot would likely fix a lot of these issues.

OK im finally in the game but i had to do some fancy thinking to do it.i knew i was docked so i figured it might be a station rendering prob so i went to my alt added a preset to undock from stat. Then loged into my main hit the preset and presto i appeared in space.So then i redocked ..... guess what only some of the station enviro loaded so i went to the escape button hit the generic tab uncliked and cliked load station enviro and presto i can now change ships and everything.I hope this helps anyone else out.

Or maybe i had this prob cause i was in the myrmidon bc when i couldnt see the station enviro anyhoo im in now JUst got a warning dont use it its causing players to crash but in thinking its causeing more than that
