I don't know if this is a relatively common problem but i have only started this game yesterday and already eve has gone down with no notice (im aware it was a power problem) my player got stuck and it took 4 hours to get it unstuck and 10 minutes into the game and i dock into a station my ship is stuck again and i am again unable to login again and waiting yet again to be released is this a common problem? if so i don't think it would be worth paying for a game that i can't play

It's unusual to get stuck quite so much (they're improving this all the time) ... just sounds like u were relatively unlucky! (Which I'm sorry to hear!  )
Stuck characters are pretty much always freed up after downtime every day and seems they were having some "technical difficulties" yesterday so that's probably another reason why you were getting stuck so much!
Show them no mercy ... for you shall receive none! |

CF, getting stuck jumping is always a bother; and you need to petition to get unstuck.
However, getting stuck while docking or undocking can be fixed by (yes, you know it's coming...) deleting the cache (again, refer to EveDudePlus available on Eve-I.com).

Yes this happens to the best of us. All you can do is delete your macho files in your cache folder and pray the angry powers that be hear your prayers to get you unstuck.

My first char actually got stucked after the first evening of play. created another one cause I did'nt had a clue of what happened. anyway growed into Tra and has been stuck one time with him too but did file a pettition
and got free after waiting 1¢ hour.
I really hope they do get the stuck bug down cause it really can scare ppl away. not every noobs know whats going on ehrn you can't get into your char 
They call em fingers but why dont they fing? |

If you have mines loaded in launchers you will get stuck, I did many times.
