Welcome, to the Celestial Cartel recruitment thread!
"Do you have what it takes?"
So, who are these "CECA" chaps anyway"??
Brief history of us- We are UK and US based corp currently based out of high sec.
We formed in 2003, quickly finding that the fun side of eve was in PvP. Roaming low sec looking for prey, hunting our targets and engaging without fear. Soon we found or blood lust calling us to Null sec, a target rich environmentGǪthe true Wild West. It was here where we became part of Curse Alliance, one of the first alliances in eve allowing us to grow and build our skills. Following the fall of Curse Alliance our corp and players continued to stay in Null being part of other large alliances but became bored of the politics and limits imposed on us.
So here we are, now we are based in high sec and focus on high sec wars, low sec roams and generally just blowing stuff up, on our terms. When not at war we do the usual high sec mission running, trading and some members are even sadistic enough to mine to help build the wallets
That's pretty cool how do I go about joining CECA?
Rough Requirements
 Must be over 18GǪwe do not have anything against the younger players but we are all above that age and some of the jokes and conversations may not be suitable for the younger audience
Must have a micGǪcommunication is key within the corp, whether it be during a fleet or just chilling in Team Speak.
Must have a sense of humorGǪ the conversations and jokes in our parties are..Well..Odd. You must have thick skin and be able to have a laugh.
Must be activeGǪ There are no minimum hours required per player, we are a friendly helpful bunch and each member will step up and support other players who are struggling or are not online BUT we do expect each member to put in the effort during wars and be self-sufficient.
Other things we look favorably upon.
Play well in organized groups, a willingness to learn and show awareness and instincts in battles such as good comms discipline, good personal initiative - i.e. no talking over the FC whilst rushing to kill a pod leaving the rest of the fleet to die. Experience as an FC or backup FC is always a plus.
Generally being a nice human being - we prefer chillaxed players with ok kill board stats to obnoxious players who are +500billion Isk when forced to choose between the two.
We are here to have fun at the end of the day - CECA is a drama-free environment with a laid back atmosphere.
The ability to remain calm during losses and offer constructive advice rather than get demoralized easily is also something we look for
That's cool, but what is in it for me?
CECA is able to offer its players
A relaxed friendly group of players to hang out with and play multiple games
Access to some of the best and brightest players for training/ personal advice on how to improve or make Isk.
An environment where all players are equal, everyone has a voice and all suggestions will be discussed openly as a group.
