Who are Slacker Industries?
As undoubtedly the thread title has informed you, Slacker Industries is currently recruiting. We are looking for a select few experienced individuals to join our ranks and expand our numbers, as well as joining our family. We are a corporation with a single goal: PvP at its finest. This means empire wars, mercenary contracts, and piracy - all day, every day. We do not have time for industry, mission running, or mining. Operating as part of a tight-knit alliance with Omerta Syndicate, positive standings are at a bare mininmum and we rely on nothing but our own wit and talent. As many who have come to know us over the years will tell you, we specialize in cold, calculated destruction without mercy, remorse, or second thought of collateral damage. We are cohesive, we are singleminded, and we are efficient.
If you are looking for destruction, you have found it.
What are we looking for in a recruit?
We are a corporation that strives for intelligence, both in game and out of game. We realize that while skillpoints may be a limiting factor to your Eve existence, they do not define who you are as a pilot. We will recruit you based upon your ingame accomplishments, however they will not guarantee your future employment. When we recruit, we are looking for team players who can function both in small and large gangs, who can follow orders but also understand the underlying tactical reasoning behind those orders and improvise if required. We are looking for leaders who are willing to fight outnumbered and if required, sacrifice themselves to win. Most of all we are looking for pilots who understand that combat in Eve isn't just about getting killmails, but instead a test of your wit and strategy.

Requirements
While we look for deeper traits than these, we do require some low standards for security and management purposes.
Required
- Teamspeak (mic optional, but it's preferred)
- 5 million skillpoints, at minimum.
- You must be self sufficient (via industry alts, or mission running, etc)
- Security Status above -2.0
Bonuses
- Tech2 specialized, in particular cruisers and frigates
- Capital ships skills (carriers, dreads)
What should I expect if I apply?
Your application will be reviewed by a team of directors and upon its approval, you will be interviewed (either ingame or on teamspeak). Shortly following the interview, you will be informed as to the acceptance of your application. Once in the corporation, you will be placed on a short evaluation period in which your participation and attitude will determine your future with us. If you fit, you're fit for life.
