Just wondering what other games peep's(players, people) play to pass the time in EVE, like handheld, consoles, or other single, multi players PC's games
Handheld has been my savior, with games like Final Fantasy Tactic's, to keep my mind occupied from boring mining, agent missions, or those long travels though space, or that patch were all waitting for...

I've been playing Gladius for the PS2. It's an excellent SRPG in the spirit of FF: Tactics.

TBH...
Once your in a BS that you have worked hard to get in... You can't really look away from the screen, or i can't.
I live in 0.0 though, and tarvel there... so i am alert like a hawk :)
But back in the old days (When i was in a frigate) I just watched a movie in my room :P
Seemed to work well. Prob does not now... Due to Jump in camping (not whining). I have only lost two ships in war.. Never to travel :).

Even when mining in Empire Space I have to be careful - EV still has 2 active wars going and no-one can predict when a crazy RUSsian will make a suicide run
Also, having played Jimmy White's Snooker Championship years ago, I'm waiting for the asteroids to suddenly have eyes and start looking around..............

I think all have you have been rather creative with the truth here. None of you atually play anyting when mining or on a trade run in Eve - you do what everyone else does and you know it.
You look at por n on the internet. -------------------------------------------- Dead

I think I must be one of the only people who actually plays EVE while playing EVE. I'm not oblivious to the real world around me when I play, but I would say for the most part, I spend my time talking and getting to know & like people "characters" and genuinely having a good time while I play.
"Boredom" is never really a problem for me - I don't know why people do or play something which they truly find no entertainment value in. I am not trying to be a pain, I am genuinely interested in why so many people seem to really dislike EVE yet, continue to log in and play it? Anyone??

Its our old friend hypocrisy!
I like chatting in game too as I consider it an important part of the game itself - relationship building, PR, whatever... sometimes I just convo people at random - suck it and see, sort of thing. Most people will chat, especially if you come over all gushy and "interested"... can learn alot about people by doing that

You have broken the Mega and Zyd market by AFK mining half a load of Scord. I hope you are aware of that! :P

I like to watch dvds, on my computer, or play Ragnarok...all of this is ran in windowed mode so while i mine I can jump back and forth as the hold fills up. . . . Watch movies while mining... Otherwise I check mails, talk with corpmates, plays minesweeper and other craps like that...
And while not playing Eve, I play most of the time Heroes of Might and Magic IV, Diablo II (with seed100 modifier ) or Max Payne II (until I finish it). (\_/) (O.o) (> <)=Oveur (proof) "Jumping 50 systems I can like, have sex 150 times during that period" |

I usually try and do something in EVE, like go to the trade channel and sell nothing, recently I been my old annoying self on the help channel, just ask the "green & teal" guys.
But that help channel seems sort of helpless for my type of questions.
I know the game has bugs, but I swear I was mooned by an npc pirate. And see I told you the help channel can't handle all questions.
Stop griping about server instability and go buy an EVE mug!
Additionally with the purchase of each mug you will receive two(2) invisible Elves.
