I REALLY need to capture onscreen video tonight. Any free programs that will not make my outputted video chug?

Sadly, pretty much any video recording software, especially 'free' ones, WILL slow down your system significantly. If that doesn't bother you, you could look for fraps. Technically it's not free, but it's not hard to obtain a 'demo' version.

luckier i have a website where u can get the full version(of fraps), im sure this sounds suspect but it is a forum like website and u can pretty much get a look at the person who has it before u download it, shoot me an eve-mail and i can send yah the website:)

You can just download it off of a torrent site..I got mine off of Torrentspy..While this is technically 'illegal'..I do not have any knowledge of me ever downloading it..Nor does my PC!
