Does anyone have a link to a page that gives the maximum ship class usable in cosmos missions (Gallente) (EveInfo DOES NOT, so please dont post that).
A couple friends of mine were upset when they went to try a cosmos mission and nowhere was it stated they couldn't use a Raven (the only thing they have) and had to take a faction hit because they couldn't do the mission after acepting it.

it is a bit haphazard generally level 1 equiv will be frigates and destoryers if ship classes are restricted
Level 2 will be AFs and cruisers mostly
Level 3 BC + HACs
Level 4 co op BS ( 2-3 gang members minimum)

Well, the Lvl 1 "Nickel/Dime Store" according to them maxxed out at a BC.

Cosmos missions are 'different'. No simple rules apply, you need to study the missions case by case.
I think you'll be best off setting a separate base before starting doing cosmos. Haul various ships and modules/ammo for them to your base and then start grinding the missions.

Since I dont really care about Gallente faction standings, maybe I just take my Raven in and see what I can do and what I can't.

tip on cosmos...
Before accepting mission see what the agent wants.
Then get it , take it to agent , Only then accept mission.
Most can be done that way

Yes sound advise, I went into a Gallente Cosmos plex yesterday to find it being camped by a by now well known farming corp. I sat in the 1st room staring at what must have been 100 loot cans and a constant traffic warping in and heading to the 2 second rooms whilst 2 T2 ships sat and killed the spawns. no way to know which can holds the mission requirement so after 20 minutes I gave up and refused the mission. In there haste to farm, one even accidently targeted me and apologised. note: all were from the same corp accused of farming another nearby cosmos plex.
