From the Drake description:
Battlecruiser Skill Bonus: 5% shield resistance and 5% bonus kinetic damage of heavy missiles, assault missiles and heavy assault missiles
If they meant "light missiles" or "standard missiles" or even "light missiles shot only from assault missile launchers", I don't know, because I can certainly say bloodclaw light missiles DO NOT show any damage increase on the Drake when loaded into "standard" (non-heavy) assault launchers.
Or do they mean some other, not-yet-seeded missile type ? _____ -sig-

I belive the bonuses are meant on launcher type and not missile type.

Whenever you fit a kinetic HAM or a HM inside the corresponding launcher (HAML or HML), you DO get a visible damage increase when you showinfo on the fitted ordinance in the fitting screen. That's not happening with (standard) assault launchers and standard missiles... and you can't fit "assault" missiles in assault launchers, only in "heavy assault" launchers.
So, unless there's a bug (and bonus was intended for bloodclaw light missiles), there must be (still) some "unknown" missile type "out there". _____ -sig-

So is this going to be the new Assault Missile sticky? :p
I took one look at "Heavy" Assault Launchers and missiles and was a little confused: the heavy assault missiles should do more damage than heavy missiles, right? Perhaps the 'heavy assault missiles' are actually 'standard assault missiles' with the wrong icons and explosion radii? I mean, come on, you don't expect me to fit those, or even train them, when they do 40% less damage, not to mention the range limitation. The only way that would be worth it is if the ROF bonus was over twice that of heavy laucnhers... around 6 seconds for base and 5 for an arby?

Hmm now that actually might be a good reason to buy some.
I'd feel MUCH more comfortable launching a short-range missile if it actually did more damage.
