I got killed doing a corp op near Venal. Thus needed a new clone. Closest one is 30 or so jumps except one in Venal is 3 jumps. All I got was shouted at for going there. FFS, ppl you are very rude. I just wanted a clone, not to touch your precious scrodite.

... Couldn't you get one from the very same station you were brought to after the podkill? o.O; (i thought it's only possible to set respawn point to the station with cloning facility?.. )

No, sorry I was cloned at an non-clone station.

I did see anyone, until after I came out of dock. The I was told I could go only as far as H-something, got there and am/was harrassed. Well, whatever guys.

I am sorry to hear about your misfortune in Venal. But as you stated, you were warned, so please do not call us rude. You knowingly entered a warzone, and were still told you could actually visit H-PA29 even though the NVA is on condition "RED". I'd say we were pretty generous.

You can move your clone to a station without a medcenter, though, and everytime you upgrade/get a new one it will stay at that station unless you move it again. I've had my clone in a system with no medical facilities for quite a while now.

... Considering you wind up with basic clone after you are killed, spawning anywhere but in the place where you can immediately upgrade the clone.... well, it's really asking to be podkilled again while traveling to that nearest medical station -.o;;

You can move your clone spawn location to any station your corp has an office in. That's in addition to any station that has insurance (notice most of them are schools, etc)
As for NVA being rude. Well hey at least you didn't get smoked for just being in Venal. Other alliances would pod you just for setting foot inside their monitored territory.

Yeah. There's a system next door with a medcenter, but I can't move my clone there. It's a pretty safe area and I don't clonejump often so it's not a big deal.

so go read some of jade constantines beautiful short warnings about Venal beeing closed and all or whatever.
then consider not trying to get a clone in unsafe space or something ?

Now, I complied and returned to H-PA29 where I was blockaeded into a station and threatened with my destruction. Now, I ask how am I the stupid one? Sorry, I am sure most of NVA is fine, but the ones I saw today were just plain rude to me.

I asked you to leave venal, and since my map tells me that h-pa29 is still in venal you didnt fully comply with my request.
Add to the fact that you took your time in actually going to h-pa29 (over the 10 minute limit). Be thankful i was nice and gave you a warning. Your corpmates wont get the same luxury.
Perhaps you should be more knowledgable when going into war zones or hostile areas in the future?

Dark Helmett, why do you have another thread in this same forum where you say you were killed in UMI-KK?
And if you wanted to get a clone there, you probably should have asked permission instead of simply heading on in. How were they to know that you had no bad intentions?
