Feythabolis duck hunting season officially opened
His exalted Excellency the Amarrian Ambassador Gonozal XVIII to Feythabolis officially declared the duck-hunting season as open today.
The weather was friendly and the ceremony could proceed to the traditional slaughter of previously caged ducks that were set loose to fly before the bobonian quantum particle stream guns. It was an amazing sight and a stunning artful performance as the falling ducks bobbed on the lush green gardens. Specially trained amarrian slaver hounds retrieved the birds, which were immediately shock frozen for export.
Particle stream roasted Feythabolis Duck is a delicacy renowned in the whole universe. A prime export article to top epicurean gallente and amarrian restaurant and known to be smuggled even into Caldari space.
A kilogram of roasted Feythabolis duck fetches prices of up to 10000 isks in selected gourmet and delicacy stores. Although recent oversupply has seen for a slight drop in prices, the duck meat remains popular as ever.
The fetythabolis duck has extravagant plumage and is easily identified by its atypical four wings with its red feather tips. This phenomena of nature allows the duck to fly backwards, which inexplicably it does faster than flying forwards.
The slaughter ceremony which was visited by high-ranking dignitaries of the Gallentean and Amarrian sphere was slightly marred by a mob of angry local resident protesters who gathered outside of the cordoned-off main square. They came to protest against the current BoB vs. ASCN war, but their voices were not acknowledged by the assembled dignitaries.
The signs on the banners read nonsensical slogans like
"We are no ducks!"
"ASCN will prevail!"
"BoB go home!"
"Family was abducted by bob-ninjas, need isks for karate lessons"
An Amarr royalty member who wishes to remain anonymous commented "These have-nots and peasants are really spoiling all the fun, if they don't like duck they should eat cake."

You tried Fountain duck lately?
It's open season at the moment and the going is good, they tend to flock around their nests and quickly disappear when danger appears, but can drop some lovely feathers sometimes which I like to adorn my ships with.
However soon I hear its open season in Delve and hunters must move to catch the crop.

The STK duck is a subspecies of the Feythabolis duck and has been known to infect STK members with the "quacking".
This usually results in the member only being able to make quack quack sounds and usually has no ability to fight.
Best bet is to put it down before it suffers anymore.

For some reason this topic brings back some fond memories of the 'Emperor of Feythabolis' contest that was going on for a while. That is until they got sacrificed in a volcano to keep the shipments of orange crush soda flowing.

Some duck have been known to migrate through and around Period Basis, Delve, Querious and Fountain without threat from the ugly locals, even when they lacked bookmarks to the region.
