I have over 800 hrs in FO3, 500+ hrs in FONV and another thousand plus in the Elder Scrolls games. Good bye EVE for the winter. This looks like it will be amazing. Especially the crafting. No more having to build mods the hard way. I can build a home and make some cool stuff right in the game. It looks like they've really stepped it up this time. Graphics are a little basic, but that will be fixed by us modders pretty quick. It's the game play, the game world and mechanics that are important with a FO game. And it looks like they've been listening to the faithful when designing this one. I seriously can't wait for November. Christmas is coming early for Mr Epeen this year. Fallout was one of the first few RPGs I ever played, and the montage scene to the tune of "Atom Bomb Baby" spoke to me on a whole other level of nostalgia. Much of it may just be cut-scenes. I'm hopeful, as travel via vertibird would be far classier than fast travel. And awesome. Granted, the car in Fallout 2 only let you move on the overworld map faster, but it was still a nice thing to have. Come hell or high water, this sick world will know I was here.

Though likely they would just have it as an alternative knowing Bethesda's ways. First real RPG I played? Temple of Apshai. Not counting text adventures or atari2600 games.

The trailer shows the protagonist fighting what very much looks to be the Midwestern branch of the Brotherhood of Steel, from Fallout Tactics.
