Nice to hear. Last test I attended I was attacked and destroyed, just because the people had nothing better to do apparently. It doesn't take too long to re-buy and re-fit a ship on sisi but it was annoying and time better spent actually testing things. Plus I didn't want to waste valuable dev time (except via venting on the forums) by reporting it and getting them banned at this critical time.
I'll be there if I can, close to the thanksgiving meal-prep time here, but you know that RL thing can wait a bit for some EVE lovin' :)

Perhaps you would like to replace some of those banned accounts with ones who would love to help, but who were cursed with an inactive account at mirror-time... (is it really my fault that my credit card auto-renewal is rejected every month?)

Just throwing in some pocket change before bans go out, I was given this order in gang chat:
[ 2006.11.22 18:58:35 ] Laurelle > fire at will guys
We then started firing at anything not ganged - people that dropped from our own gang without knowing it, people from either side that weren't ganged and jumped in, Sharkbait, etc...Keep that in mind before you start banhammering people, k ? I'm going to be slightly miffed if I login to find that I got pwned from the Test Server just because I followed my dev's orders to shoot.
That being said, I'll come if I can today, I have a geddon setup I want to test.

Sakura, I was attacked at the station in FD-MLJ for example, and saw lots of other people get attacked both there and at the gate in FD-MLJ. So thats my only concern.
But after that, when we attacked the other fleet and stuff, of course it was Fire at Will for everybody and thats to be expected. Thats fine. :) Couldnt really do it any other way either because of the major lag.
So if you are talking about the actual combat, its not that situation we are whining about here. :)

i was given the same order, the only prob i see is some people were claiming that they had been podded? as far as i know that is a bannable offence on sisi? but before the bans are hamded out it should be acertained whether they were podded or just ship killed as a lot of people even those that have been playing for a while dont seem to know the difference.

Is it possible for a Dev to have a look at this char on the test server please, I wanted to join in yesterday but my character is stuck.
I spoke ot Hunter who moved me but any time I try and enter space I get stuck again and again on "checking Navagation Systems"
might wanna join this one tonight if I get fixed

With the horrible FPS I had I better remove pods from overview, dunno why I didn't think about that before
I know I targeted and shot at something, but went pop before I could see what it was

First thing I did as I tend to activate guns then click on a target in my overview did not want to make that mistake for sure :). On a related note did not get one single final blow **** all you killmail ho's  .

That is why we need automated passworded gangs. We could have formed a fleet in a few minutes instead of waiting for invites. That was what took so long - all the invites.
I hope ccp takes a look at that idea, I think it would work pretty good. Not only for the test server, but for ganging with people in general. :)

Tbh the new gang windows ect are a waste of time cos everyone just sits in the gang window instead of their squad one, there is also a bug which stops you from posting into the chat window and stops you from being able to scroll the window

CCPMasta will be killed when i get into the office tomorrow morning.
but aside from that, thx for the help peeps. we got some good logs again and 2 major problems was found. i am planning more of these tests. i'm sry we wasn't fully ready today at 5:30, tbh i had loads of work to do and completely forgot. i was reminded about 5:20. so sry about that, i am totally to blame, oh and hunter for setting the pos up in the wrong system, lol.
anyways i am planning more tomorrow and over the weekend, if you can help we will be most greatful.

Im very curious what those problems was, but maybe its not for public eyes. :) Anyway, I think the pos fight went well and I had pretty decent fps. The module lag was major in the beginning of the fight, but only minor at the end of it. And it wasnt that people was getting killed or disconnected either. We were around 160 people (3 wings) all the time.
