I always thought that Roark was Ragnar's (the former head of TTI) trading alt.

... And here i thought perhaps i was reading too much into strange coincidence of them disappearing right after certain announcement, and not even being able to post the goodbye note from their own account... o.o

Yes they were one in the same. Actually he's moved and bought a game software development company last I've heard. He enjoyed eve so he decided to make games or something along those lines.
