I get this error message when trying to put on a 3rd rig on my maelstrom.
Quote:
You cannot fit the Anti-EM Screen Reinforcer I because your ship cannot handle it. Your ship can only fit so many upgrades as each interferes with its calibration and past a certain point your ship is rendered unusable.
I was wondering if this is due to ineffecient skills or if this is a bug, does anyone know?

exactly what it says, your ship has only a limited amount of calibration points to spend and each rigs needs a specific amount, most likely you tried to fit too many rigs with high needs.

you can view calibration points by doing show info on your ship, then checking the "calibration" part of the fitting form. :) ___________________________ ~Jiekon

There is also a bug at the moment that will not let you fit the last rig if there is exactly that amount of calibration points left i.e. :
50pt rig 75pt rig
75 points left but it wont let you fit a 75 point rig. |

Interesting, i`ll have to speak to someone about making it impossible to undock if your calibration amount has gone over the maximum somehow. ___________________________ ~Jiekon

Better make that a "select one rig to remove" instead ;) Like when undocking in a pod, making you select a ship first. _____ -sig-

You can't remove rigs as such... - EVE is sick. |

Yes, you can't normally... but you can't fit more than allowed either normally. So, I guess two wrongs would make a right here. _____ -sig-

Please add 2 things: One is as suggested - to see the rig usage on fitting screen, like pg and cpu.
Second, add some categories, or extra search parameters that allows to find any rigs that uses lets say, 25 calibration points.
Why I ask? Well because last time I tried to rig a Hyperion, I was left wtih 25 points, and had to click every rig and check how many points it takes.. a very lengthy and un-necesary process ------------------ Its great not being an Amarr, aint it? Save Tranquility! |
