Heh, I went up against a Myrmidon that had a mixed setup of heavy and medium drones. Original plan was to stay out of web range with my Hurricane, but that didnt happen. So I got webbed, and then it was basicly game over. His drones + guns finished my double nos, cap injected dual repper Hurricane setup in about 60 seconds, and I didnt even get him into armor. They have a repper bonus too you know. 
Kind of funny actually. If nothing gets done about the ship, im training up Ogre II as my next move and getting into one. Good thing battle cruiser skill are multiracial. 
And yes, this is EXACLY what it looks like. I got killed and come here to whine. Cool eh? Well, I like it anyway...

I was expecting lots of "shoot his drones noob!" comments...
Looks like we have to shoot drones and keep out of web range  I wish EVE was as easy as it is on forums.

Or use known bug to make drones stop hitting you while webbed. Problem solved!

Yup, once you're banned, you don't have to worry about the myrmidon any more 
Between corps atm, the NPC one is strictly a temporary thing.

Lol, you couldn't break his shields in 60 seconds? Myrm's shields are nothing to be proud about...........
I'm thinking you may have more problems with your Hurricane skills than with the Myrm........
What was your setup? Exactly? And do you have any idea what his setup was?

The Mrym is best at under 5km, for obvious reasons.
The Hurricane is best between 10-15km.
If you had maintained distance with your superior agility and speed, his blasters would have been 100% ineffectual. You could then focus on popping his drones.
Once done, you turn on him, as he sits there helpless using up all his cap boosters to tank you. When the last one pops and his repper can run no more, he dies.
Not difficult.
You just need to play each ship to its strength. Engaging a blaster ship, getting webbed, not shooting the drones, and dying at close range is just.... not necessary.

Soon as it's released my ubar drone skilled, Amarr spec'd alt will be training gal cruiser 4 so I can load up some medium beams and ogres on that nukka and kill a lot of things.....
