I was out flying some VIPs in my Luxury Yacht in Thera the other day and I was trying to come up with ways to entertain them. While they wished for a trip through a wormhole, I was not prepared to oblige them as the single high slot on the yacht would either mean going with no probes, at the risk of being trapped out of Thera, or without a cloak, which they were not prepared to do without.
They then requested a fireworks display and while I would normally gladly oblige, I was unable to as there was no way to fit the requisite launcher onto my vessel.
While I could have hired another ships to act as a scout or to provide the fireworks, these VIPs were not paying me nearly enough to cover this additional cost and I was left with some rather disappointed passengers. Luckily I had a full compliment of Exotic Dancers on board so they were able to find other ways to enjoy themselves.
(O/C) TL;DR Please can the Yacht be given a second highslot that can fit a Festival Launcher? I like fireworks a lot and not being able to launch them from a "luxury" yacht seems a little disappointing. |

this needs to be a thing, also maybe the theoretical siren might be appropriate for prisoner transport...
(for those who dont know it was a post about a siren making woop woop space police sounds to be fitted to police issue ships...) |

Also, I cannot seem to fall asleep. :(
I need to feel the heat of some astral fireworks near my ship to warm my body for bedtime. :( |

I too was disappointed to discover that I could not deliver Hugs(tm) with my Luxury Yacht, and fully support Mr. Anduath's suggestion.
It would be ideal if Festival Launchers were in the same category as probe launchers so that they could be fitted onto any ship which has high slots.
Aaaaand while we're at it, we also need pillow ammo to launch from them so we can have pillow fights in space. Snowballs and fireworks can only take you so far when dealing with war deccers.

I would not support giving the yacht a hardpoint, but I would support removing the hardpoint requirement from festival launchers.
EvE is hard. It's harder if you're stupid.
I couldn't have said it better.

Remove the hardpoint prereq on the launchers -- my vote. That would be way more fun.

Well, also the festival launchers have to be restricted by a number, how many you may install 
In my opinion, one hardpoint per launcher is absolutely ok - but please remove the launcher-only-requirement 
I wanna fly a Catalyst with 8 festival launchers!
