Well on my main a group of 3 players owning 6 accounts "as far as they say" recently joined our 0.0 based Corporation. They say they work together and can often spend excesivly long periods of time between them mining and making isk. Makes one wonder where all this ISK is going. They even said they could/would spend a billion Isk to set up a PoS for thier operations yet not one of them can fly larger then a cruiser. Of course as members they would be protected by our alliance and wouldn't have to worry about the problems most macro miners would face entering 0.0.
It all seems rather suspicious but I do not want to come foward without proof. I'd be willing to give some of thier names out to a dev or gm if they would like to know but not to any players. We already let them in and they're on thier way to our territory, and we can't just kick them out without any evidence "see above". Any idea on how to go about this?

If you suspect a macrominer operation, filing a petition is the best way to solve that problem.

Yes, that's happening. Do not let them join, don't believe any explanations.

I've never heard that filing a petition would have solved a macro miner problem.
However
- Helping macro miners haul (and forgetting to share with them)
- Constantly bumping them away from their cans with a battleship
- Jetting cans labeled "MACRO MINER", "STOP MACRO MINING" and so forth until they get nervous and pop the can
Leads either them to get bored and find easier places to mine or then I get a flag and send them home. Macro mining is only profitable because ppl let them macro mine. PvP is the answer, not teasing GMs because of your inability of defending your belts.

Just currious how does a macro miner get bored or nervous?
If it is indeed a macro miner their is nobody there besides a small computer program. They typically dont get very nervious.

Here's the best test. Build a bump-a-geddon.
Ingredients: 1 Geddon (Domi or other battleship with many low slots can be substituted.)
8x Nanofibers (Overdrives can work even better, but more distance will be required)
1x 100mn MWD, preferably named or T2.
Now get about 100 km from the miners (even more if you have overdrives). Hit Approach on their little cluster of ships, and activate MWD. Now you're like a bowling ball and they are the pins. Try to go for a strike! If you don't get them all, shoot for a spare.
Now, do they immediately get ****ed off at you in local? Do they go "WTF Man?!" or do they just coast off into space?
If you finally do determine that they're macro mining, fill up your high slots with some smart bombs. Add a few cap mods so you'll be able to trip them all after running the MWD.
This is where you take advantage of the joys of 0.0. Head back around for another bump-run. Right as you crash into them, trip all your smartbombs.
